Q: What diameter is the mounting hole?

Not sure, but it fit like OEM on my 05 F150 rear bumper, i highly recommend these if you are looking for a cheap replacement for your license plate lights they also help with reversing in dark areas because they’re that bright

Q: Is this just the bulb or does it include the plastic housing?

It has the LED bulb housing built into the plastic Housing. There is a blade pigtail connection that plugs into your bulb socket ( the bulb socket does not mount onto the assy, you will have to secure the pigtail to your socket and waterproof connection).the bulbs are extremely bright and durable but however they did not last very long with my application.

hello,yes,click on “quantity 1”,it include 1pair license plate light for F150

Q: Why do these only last one year and burn up!??....

More than I got. 4 months and both of them are burned out. These are garbage quality
