Reliable Valve Grinding Solution with Smart Packaging DesignThis ABRO grinding paste has become my go-to solution for automotive valve grinding projects after using it on several engine rebuilds. The industrial-strength silicon carbide formula delivers consistent results that rival more expensive alternatives while remaining budget-friendly.The unique dual-grit can design is genuinely clever and practical. Having both coarse and fine grinding compounds in one container eliminates the need for separate purchases and reduces workspace clutter. The ability to access either grit type easily based on project requirements streamlines the grinding process significantly.Performance during valve grinding is excellent. The coarse grit effectively removes material and corrects minor seat irregularities, while the fine grit produces smooth, leak-proof valve seats. The compound spreads evenly and maintains consistent cutting action throughout the grinding process without breaking down prematurely.Application is straightforward and efficient. The paste-like consistency adheres well to valve faces and seats, reducing waste compared to thinner compounds that tend to fling off during grinding. Less product is required per valve, making the small container go further than expected. The silicon carbide abrasive maintains its cutting effectiveness longer than some alternatives, requiring fewer reapplications during extended grinding sessions. This consistency helps achieve uniform results across multiple valves in the same head.Cleanup is manageable with standard degreasers, though the compound does require thorough removal before assembly to prevent contamination of oil passages. The paste doesn't leave stubborn residue that some grinding compounds can create.Value for money is outstanding at under $10. Compared to professional valve grinding services or premium compounds, this product delivers comparable results at a fraction of the cost for DIY mechanics and small shops. The compact size makes storage convenient, though the small quantity means frequent replenishment for shops doing regular valve work. Professional operations might prefer larger containers, but the dual-grit feature maintains its appeal. One minor limitation is that extremely worn valves may require multiple applications of coarse grit before progressing to fine, but this is typical for most grinding compounds.Bottom Line: Excellent value grinding compound that delivers professional results with thoughtful packaging design. The dual-grit system and reliable performance make this an essential tool for valve grinding work.

Handy Design
The two grades of grit were well chosen. It should work well to grind the valves on my lawn mower engine.

Perfect stuff for valve lapping
It did the job as it should. Measured over 22 InHg vac test on all valves doing the fine grit at the end. Measured with manual vac pump and it took at least 15 seconds to lose the vac after pumping. Very well valve seal and seat after lapping it!I'd stay away from the variable grit stuff from other companies or just as stuff in the beginning. it didn't come up with the good sealing results this stuff here came up with on the vacuum checks. Even after some minutes of lapping.

You only get ONE VERY SMALL CAN.
I just received the package, it shipped quickly. I can't say how it works yet. I want to clear up what was confusing for me.You only get ONE VERY SMALL CAN with fine on one half and course on the other half. I ware a medium to large glove in women's and an extra small men's. The can is smaller than my hand. Again you only get One Small Can.
