The paper is very durable, does not bleed on any ink short of a Sharpie. Plenty of writing space for each day, and is very compact. The paper feels like bible paper, but you can write on it without it bleeding through. It is easy to read the dates, and the conversion charts in the back are handy. It gets a lot of compliments and is professional looking in any environment. I don't know about getting wet, but I would avoid getting water on it.I wish there were plain covers available for it because the corners unravel if you just throw in your pocket. I got halfway through the year, so don't have a years worth of use, but will be getting one again next year.

The Hobonichi planner is quickly becoming a close friend. After my employer discontinued supplying refills for my daily planner a couple of years ago, I've been trying different formats without any real success. Using my iPad with various apps just don't cut it. The quality is top shelf and the style spot on. Just as much as a planner, this has become a mini journal too. I like to use a pencil for all of my entries and the paper is very pleasant to write on. I also like the size for portability. Both thumbs up on this product.

After most of a year using the Hobo I get the fascination. Have already ordered 2017. This is not my primary planner - that place goes to my Midori TN system. This is more a personal journal that has just enough structure but leaves me freedom to expand or contract, and tell the story of my day rather than the moment to moment.

I accidentally found it on Pinterest looking for pictures of the Earthbound game and one of the pictures happens to be the hibonichi planner designed by the guy that created the game! I learned something and decided to check out this funny looking booklet and looked up videos on how people use it! This booklet I'm using 2016 because I'm going to need it for school. But don't worry I'll get 2017 planner in the near future!

I love this planner. It is compact and easy to take with me. The graph lines are slightly larger than on the Japanese version of the planner, but this can be good for those who like a little more space to write. The paper is smooth and thin, so the planner is fairly light for one with so many pages. It's really a great product!

I wouldn't be without this planner. I use it for personal and family tasks and tracking. The paper is top notch! You will not be disappointed. I hold this in my Roterfaden and the spine is holding up perfectly.

Love this book. I only had Moleskins for last 5 years but I am happy to change. Great paper, great size. I miss the webbing book mark as on Moleskin and a pocket at back but will get it in the cover I bought as well. I write and sketch with Rotring radiograph 0.2 and color with Copics.Will purchase for 2017 even it is a bit expensive.

After buying various types of planners to see which worked best for me I looked into getting a Hobonichi. I didn't like the layout of most of the planners out there. I was going to purchase this item from the Hobonichi website but saw that is was available here on Amazon and went ahead and ordered it here. I ended up purchasing both the A6 and the A5 versions. I love the layout as well as the paper. The paper is thin, but can take a lot of different mediums. Of course I'll order again for next year and the husband wants one to replace his Molskine planner. I did order covers for mine from the Hobonichi website.
