It should bc boost uses Sprint networks which are CDMA.

From asking xfinity personally it can but I haven’t made the change. I have civility tv and internet service and I had the same question as you. I called and asked which they confirmed would work. From my bias perspective I did not make the change since I have had plenty of issue with them taking their word seriously. Like me, I would just call them to ask or even better go to their store directly if possible.
