Perfect Jewelry Paint You'll Find
This paint really does dry fast. It is very durable. If you have any black jewelry is showing bits of grey after a while from the black paint coming off, use this for sure. I just repaired some black jewelry and this tarnished silver moon necklace I have. I love this paint. Truly glad it exists

Great for jewelry
I used it to paint gold metal jewelry the black/gun metal color. Shake it well, it smells like spray paint. Goes on thin but dries really quick. I did a couple of coats and all of my jewelry turnout wonderful!

precisely what i needed
a lot of stainless steel jewelry comes with black in the voids to generate contrast, after time it wears off. This is exactly what i wanted and needed to freshen up some of my old pieces, and I was able to use it to make a new cheap belt buckle look great.

It's nice but it's just a paint
This is a nice product especially if you learn to use it well. However it's just a paint with a very fine pigment. It doesn't do anything to oxidize the metal or physically alter it's finish. It does offer nice control and gives a deep look but it is just a fuax finish and can look very fake if you don't know what your doing. With all that said it is well made and affordable and makes no false claims. As long as you know what your doing it's a good option.

This is not a patina
This is paint, pure and simple. IT IS NOT PATINA! It is a thick paint to paint your rifle and is not a patina in any way. It should not be allowed to be advertised as a patina. It is also way too expensive considering that it is falsely labelled as a patina.

Not For My Purpose
I used it to blacken brass HO scale detail parts to add to railroad models, hoping to get a flat, weathered looking result. In this application it is hard to distinguish from thick glossy black paint, although it may adhere to the surface more strongly. Buffing it, unlike many other blackeners, did not bring it closer to what I wanted. It is just not a good choice for this kind of application. It may well be a great product for touching up and/or highlighting pottery or jewelry, and my comments do not pertain to that kind of application, with which I have no experience.

Good product
Everything else I've tried to age aluminum failed miserably. I found this stuff, gave it a try, it's good. More like a paint than patina. I just put a few dot of this stuff on my aluminum, swirled a big brush to cover it. When it dries, I just run a sanding block on it if it's too dark.
