Great all purpose sandal
I walk 4 to 8 miles daily. Comfort is a priority. The footbed is very comfortable and supportive. Soft but not too squishy. The straps are very soft underneath so they feel good on the skin. No danger of blisters.Arch support is great.I really like Keen for the wider toe box. They shape their footwear like an actual foot. Pretty cool. For this particular version of Keen, the sizing is accurate. I wear an 11 in most shoes and a 45 in Birkenstock shoes/boots. I ordered the 11s and they fit great.I plan to put some miles on these sandals. Well made, cool design, and I love the environmental initiative by using recycled plastic bottles in the construction of the sandals.Keen nailed it with the Targhee III Open Toe H2

Comfortable and well-made
Very comfortable and well-made but expensive. I saw them later on Prime Day for a significant price reduction.

The greatest sandals ever made
After suffering a toe injury I was unable to wear any closed toed shoes for a while. I am not a sandal guy, I didn't even own one pair. I got a pair of flip flops, couldn't stand them. I got a pair of slides..they were ok I guess. Still sucked feeling like my movement was being restricted by these goofy things barely held onto my feet. Then I remembered the existence of the ultimate Dad Sandal..the Keen Targhee Sandal. It was like heaven strapping these bad boys on. Incredibly comfortable. My toes are totally unbotheted by any goofy flip flop thong, they won't fall off if I step wrong. I instantly loved themNow, I actually did a lot of hiking wearing these. The grip of the targhee 3 outsole is excellent, hiking up dusty steep southern california mountain trails I never came across anything they couldn't handle. The leather straps are solid and I get the feeling they would easily outlive the traction on the outsole.Whether you are getting these for hiking or simply the comfort of a sandal that stays on your foot, they are going to do their job well. I honestly couldn't find one single flaw with these sandals.

Great for hiking
Came well packaged and fast delivery. These are the best hiking sandals I have ever had. They are extremely rugged and smart looking for everyday wear, especially for climbing and hiking through any terrain including streams, rivers and light rock climbing. I have three pairs of these in different colors, my first purchase was almost 6 years ago, and still look as good as they did when I first purchased them. The Velcro straps are very secure even after 6 years of heavy wear, they are as good looking and comfortable as they originally came. The rubber soles are thick and very heavy duty for canoeing, kayaking, hiking and climbing, all of which we have been doing for almost 40 years. My husband was so impressed by how rugged they are, he also bought a pair and wears them pretty much everyday in the summer time. These are also a very good price on Amazon. Other sporting good stores are offering these sandals for much more.

Keen is a good quality shoe
I was so tired of the typical sporting goods special shoes as they claim. So, I bought a pair ofr Keen hiking boots. For me they fit like a glove. No break in require. And that was my first pair. Now all I have is Keen. A well made boot compared to others. and they have endured my treatment. I ampleased and that is all I have now.

Most Comfortable Sandal Owned
First off, these run about 1/2 size small. I typically wear a 13 wide and these 13s my toes go right to the end (but not over). However, this is how I like my sandals!! Typically a sandal size 13 extends beyond my toes by 3/4"-1" and when walking at the beach, the front of the sandal catches some sand and flips it down causing me to stumble. With this sandal, my toes go to the end and I can walk a normal pace without worrying if my toes are going to catch. The other great part is the straps have a padding below them which are ultra comfortable. I wore these exploring Higuey in the Dominican Republic and in two other beach trips. They have worn wonderfully and still look brand new. I'm loving this sandal and so glad I got it used for a fraction of the new price.

Comfort and good durability are strong positives
The sandals required no break-in period. I walked just under 5 miles today with these and no chafing or hotspots. Not much cushioning observed. I did not find any issues with the quality of construction. The thickness of the Keen leather is very similar to my previous MBT sandals which lasted 15 years, so durability is expected. Style-wise, there are a few better-looking sandals for less $ (Teva Katavi 2 and Ecco Yucatan), which may also have some advantages in their footbed material and cushioning level.I sprayed and wiped these Keen's with Weiman Leather Conditioner prior to use, it darkened the color significantly, and the leather readily absorbed the product. Doing this really softened and moistened the leather surfaces, as they felt a bit "dry" at first. One complaint, the Amazon page touts origin as USA-made, but the shoebox lists Thailand as origin.
