Got this for my son for Christmas and he LOVED being able to act like a paleontologist and dig for the fossils! He said he would love to have another one! A little messy, but definitely worth it! Kept them focused for over an hour!

My 5-year-old granddaughter loved this gift and felt a real sense of accomplishment when she successfully "unearthed" a baby dinosaur from an egg. It took a while to accomplish, but she enjoyed finding a foot, then a wing, and eventually the entire dinosaur. This kit is great for a budding paleontologist!

My 5 year old son really enjoyed playing with this set. Not sure why digging through clay is so exciting for him but it kept him occupied for a couple of hours and he was able to excavate all the dinosaurs and bones without help from mom and dad. There were 6 eggs that he excavated on the first day, then the large brick with the Dino bones on the second day. He's been saving the last one. Note that we did this outside because it gets pretty messy, but the clay washes out easily from his clothes. Only reason I gave 4 stars is the steep price tag for this toy. I've seen similar kits selling for about half the price, but that aside I'd recommend.

Gave to my grandson for his birthday and he was SO EXCITED. I am sure this was a lot of fun for him and it was a great price.

This has been the best kit I have purchased for dinosaur excavating. This kit comes with many items to dig, small dinosaurs in eggs, another piece with dinosaur teeth, and then the main show… digging out the trex. What makes this kit the best aside from all the digging things you get for the price, is that the T-Rex is sturdy and its head articulates. It balances on its platform and does not require glue to keep together. Other kits have been very frustrating to my school aged child to try to keep together. He is inspired to start a museum at home with this kit.

My niece and nephew had so much fun with this. Definitely recommend taking outside to do this. Not in carpeted area.

Super messy but kids had fun. Would recommend this being an activity for outside.
