Stitch markers
Good quality and don't stick to my wool yarn. Yarn doesn't catch on the paint. Better than some I've used.

Excellent Metal Stitch Markers; Quite Honestly Better than Plastic Stitch Markers
7/15/19 - 750 Pieces Bulb Safety Pins for Knitting, Stitch MarkersI bought these Bulb Safety Pins to use as stitch markers for knitting.I don't know why I'm constantly needing to buy stitch markers --it's not as though they go into the laundry like socks that mysteriously disappear in the laundry. After repeatedly replacing my smallest stitch markers for knitting socks, I learned that orthodontic rubber bands work just as well, and are a fraction of the cost of others. I once bought Calabash pins to use as stitch markers. They were made of plastic and a waste of money. The points were too thick to fit into the groove and prevented them from locking. Countless times, I knitted well beyond the point I was supposed to because the marker had disappeared. These Calabash pins are metal and the points are pointy & thin enough to close securely.Another thing that I noticed in my knitting -- the spaces between stitches where my "brand name," (a well known name in the knitting realm that knitters love & hate. Love, because they come up with very good knitting aids; hate, because their products are ridiculously expensive.) plastic, locking stitch markers sit, it is always slightly larger than the other spaces. I used to try to correct it, but decided it was fruitless. For example, I just finished knitting a swirl (a sweater jacket or coat that begins with a cast-on of 500-700+ stitches that are knit in-the-round. ). It required a lot of knitting and there was no way I could correct the spacing between stitches each time I passed a stitch marker, even if I tried. I was close to finishing when I received these Calabash or Bulb Safety Pin Stitch Markers, but in the short amount of time that I used them, I saw a difference.Other Pros:Great price got so many locking stitch markers. There's a good variety of colors, not just two. Two colors is good to contrast between light & dark colored yarn but with 12 colors you can also color code. For example, to signal a yarn over and when ever there's a yarn over, there's frequently a decrease, but not always in the same place. So, you can use one color to maintain a stitch count or pattern repeat, another color to indicate a yarn over (or some other increase) and a third color to indicate a decrease. The color coating seems to be well adhered. I was concerned there would be a rubbery plastic coating that could be easily peeled off. The method of coating isn't specified, however it seems to be secure as if powder coated.Packaging - some reviewers of other Calabash pins have said that their pins arrived, with the colors scambled. These did not. Although the dividers (permanently attached) go to the top edge of the box, there seems to be a slight amount of play in the top where I can press down on it, very slightly, before it touches the dividers. It's a very slight amount so that when shaken vigorously, the bulb part of a pin to cross into another cell, but not enough to allow the closure-end of the pin to cross over the divider. The vendor included a piece of bubble-wrap in the top of the container that prevents any shifting. I suggest it be kept for that purpose. Some reviewers also mentioned disproportionate numbers between the colors of markers. I have not counted each color, however, I can see that each cell within the box, appears to filled to the same level.Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase. I'm hoping these will last forever, but, if I need more I will search for this vendor, Shiguang.

Great for string or worsted yarn projects
Most of what I do is with chunky yarn. These were way too small. If I worked more with string up to worsted weight yarn, I would have kept them. Returned because I work mostly with chunky yarn

Everyone should have some!!
I have these. Everyone should have them! They are the best I've ever used in 60 years. Easy to use, sturdy (I got so tired of those fragile plastic ones that snagged everything and broke,) non-intrusive and I can add a charm or a twist of yarn to them if needed. As a bonus, they are so handy around the house as they are like upgraded safety pins.

They work.
I like they are so weightless they don't pull the stitch and are never in the way of the knit row.

Absolutely love
Work perfectly to help me keep track of my stitches, especially when I’m working on a round project where my stitch numbers can get into the thousands. Also had been super helpful helping my daughter keep track of her stitches (she uses one color to mark 25 count stitches and another to mark 100) as she just recently asked to learn to crochet. I love that they are like actual safety pins as I can hook them into my sweater sleeve until I need them.

Nice idea but way too small
These clips were tiny and got lost into the knitting. Good idea but need to be twice the size

Great for knitting
These are great for marking stitches or rows. I wish they had an option for larger ones, these one will fit a 6mm needle.I wish I had of had these for the last 40+ years of knitting, I have spent a lot of money on the cheap plastic rings that always break at the worse possible time.

Great stitch markers
I bought these for my mom for Mother’s Day. I already had some and my mom commented that she liked them but couldn’t find them in any store. She gave me a few since there were so many. These are great stitch markers and lots of different colours.
