I recently went on a European vacation and brought this along with me to convert a single outlet to an American plug, while also retaining two USB-A ports for recharging some older noise-canceling headphones.This worked perfectly. While the plugs do not fold down, the device is compact and easy to fit in a bag. The USB-A ports—while not comparable to USB-C—are reliable and worked perfectly with my fitness tracker and headphones.The European prongs were properly dimensioned, and the US socket held on firmly—but not overly-so—to devices plugged in to the adapter.Please note - this is NOT a voltage converter, please ensure your devices will work from 100-240V before plugging them into this adapter!Overall, a great value if you want something with built-in USB outputs.

Pins do not retract, but the device is still compact enough.

I trust Anker products so I was happy to see these adapters at a reasonable price and quick enough to ship before my trip to Europe. They worked perfectly and helped to keep me charged up and ready for each day. absolutely would recommend.

Really like this. Would buy again. 4.5 stars because of bright light.Pros: There are no moving parts, with nothing to fall off and lose. It fits well into the round outlets that many older adapters don't. Solidly built. USB slots fit well. Easy to use in airport lounge to avoid potentially compromised USB outlets in public spaces. Good bathroom night light when I left it in there for hair dryer use. Great price.Cons: The blue light is kind of bright for a hotel room unless you keep the curtains wide open anyway. After a few days, I had to cover it or just unplug at night, which meant not charging things while I slept. The prongs don't fold, so need to put it in shoes or wrap carefully when packing.

I needed another adapter for European current and this one seemed very versatile because it included 2 USB ports in addition to having a place to plug my devices into. It did the job but was so much better than expected. First, my old 2 prong adapters don't provide enough stability and the combination of the device plugged into the adapter into the wall is always wobbly. This adapter fits firmly into the wall socket, has a grounded connection and is very stable. Second I felt much more confident plugging my 120/240 Watt flat iron into this 10 Amp adapter than I did using my old tiny, ungrounded 6 Amp adapter, which usually gets hot when I use it. I felt that the higher amp rating was safer to use with something like a flat iron.

Worked perfectly for my needs during a recent month long stay in France. It has 2 usb ports & 1 for a 2 prong standard American plug (grounded or not). It does have a small blue light, but that posed no problem for my use, day or night. I used both usb ports at the same time without issue & the standard plug worked great as well. I would recommend this to anyone who needs this type of plug for foreign travel & some people that saw it in use during my trip liked it & inquired where to purchase one of their own. I would not hesitate to purchase another & I may do so just to have 2/a spare in case I misplace this one.

Anker always makes reliable products and so we were very happy with this one too. Great for cruise ships or the land of weird outlets (Europe). Allows you to have a couple items plugged in while being small enough to be unobtrusive. Great value.
