Pottery 14 inch Square Stone Baking Sheet by HAEGER INDUSTRIES

I have just started making my own bread, and this does a great job....a few people have seen my baking stone and like the idea of the handles to use along with the back lip so bread doesn't go off the back when loading on heated baking stone. Have used the stone to make pizza as well, did a great job there too!Note: I try to buy USA made, funny everyone wants jobs but doesn't try to purchase things made in the USA. Take notice: this stone is made in USA, a great product along with being CHEAPER than those that I seen in the stores or on line that is made in CHINA. Do your part to get jobs back in USA.....purchase USA Made, take a moment and look. You will be surprised to find alot of times USA is cheaper than made over seas or about the same price!

It didn't fit in the oven. Handles made it to wide.

My experience is a similar story. I was very careful about not getting any water/moisture on the stone, and followed directions carefully, but the second time I used it it cracked right down the middle. Now, since mine only cracked down the middle, I was able to fit the two pieces together and use the stone with great success for four months. But today it cracked again and it's useless now. It made amazing pizza for the time in between though, especially once it was 'broken in'. The surface was almost entirely blackened and full of flavor - like an iron skillet. But the fact that it broke right our of the package - that was lame. I just got lucky with how mine broke, but my review should be like the others here. Two stars. Not impressed.

This piece of stoneware has gone through the paces for me. I have cooked everything from pizzas to cookies to fries. Everything cooks perfectly! The cookware is a bit awkward to clean and store afterward in my limited space, but I love any chance to use it so I don't mind.I would recommend this to anyone that was looking for good stoneware but doesn't want to purchase a specialized piece (such as a cake pan or muffin pan) because you can cook a wide variety of food on this enormous piece of stoneware.

This is a great stone for baking pizza, cookies or re-heating items. Love the handles!

I received this stone as a Christmas gift this year 2010 - I used it twice with good success - the third time it broke into 4 pieces - 10 minutes into the baking time for aloaf of bread. I felt terrible as I thought I had done something wrong, although I had followed all instructions and pre-heated, etc. as I always do. I went on the web looking for the companyso that I could contact them and found only Amazon and Target - and so read the reviews on Amazon to find that I am one of many. My question is to Amazon. WHY DO YOU CONTINUE TO SELL THISINFERIOR PRODUCT??

This stoneware is great. Just as good as pampered chef at half the price.

I've been learning how to make different things at home, the economy & all. Got this pizza stone when it was on sale thinking hell's yeah! Gourmet pizza at a budget price! Just like the first review, mine just broke into 3 pieces. Fortunately I'm making a calzone & it survived the explosion. Grabbed the instructions on the side of the fridge to figure out what I did wrong. I was baking at 400 & it says it's fine up to 500. Came online to see what others had to say & ended up here. Buyer beware!!!
