The ECM auto-adjusted the fuel rate to my universal Chinese catalytic converter. 10/10.
This fiberfly diesel heater is amazing... Compared to competition it has an altitude sensor (very important for mobile living) a fuel rate sensor, and temperature sensor on the unit. They've also locked out pump rates below 1.7Hz due to incomplete combustion at those speeds.I've placed a magnet inside the fuel filter where there is empty space to collect rust, and two magnets polarized to each other ahead of the fuel filter as a cheap fuel treatment/de-clouding solution. Try it yourself with neodymium magnets. You can see the difference! (The heater burns hotter and cleaner)I've also taken apart the original air filter and installed a $10 motorcycle mesh air filter with glue inside of a repurposed cylindrical plastic container with holes drilled on the lid (for water, dirt, condensation protection) creating a solution that prevents the glow plug from getting debris on it causing premature failure. And get THIS. This thing works with a universal mayasaf (non-o2 sensor version) Chinese catalytic converter! Lol! You can hear it light off and after the CAT warms up the heater ends up reducing the fuel pump rate while maintaining fan speed and temperature, until it starts to lower again and then it raises fuel pump speed back to normal. This appears to be the temperature sensor working with the fuel pump to maintain a target temperature, because it works on all different speeds except the lowest setting.I used the cheapest heavy duty adhesive duct aluminum tape I could find and wrapped it in fiberglass woven heat wrap (the stuff they use to keep exhausts on motorcycles from burning your legs) and hung the CAT with iron outdoor garden pot hangers linked together and hanging from weather-proof heavy duty zip ties I looped through the tiny holes in my body support beams. This keeps the heat from reaching the zip ties and secures the CAT from moving around while driving. So far, no air leaks... and I'm saving somewhere around 25% fuel with the reduced fuel pump rate!I plan to install an outside duct intake hole with an air filter and backdraft valve + extend the duct system throughout the roof of my vehicle at 6 different exit points with adjustable flaps. I'll try to to remember to edit this review! It sounds like a jet engine with the CAT installed 🛬

This is the best deal ever
I have had a long painful journey with diesel heaters for my Mercedes sprinter 170. The big Sprinter. I previously purchased a Wabasto heater for a premium price. 10X what I bought this one for. Thinking that I was buying a quality unit. This Wabasto was so problematic and would only heat up and shut down. NEVER WORKED.. the manufacturer did not support the unit. Apparently the Wabasto units also come from Russia and the only way to know it is after you buy it because the wrapping on the wire.. Give me a break! However, This nifty Fiberfly unit was purchased in hopes that I would get a good one for my van. This was a gem!!! This little heater works so good and for 10X less. Highly recommended. Don't waste the money on the others.

So far so good. Need better instructions
So far so good. Need more instructions on using the red controller. It appears you can set a temperature thermostat function but I'm still figuring that out. Figured out you can set it to Fahrenheit by pushing the up and down arrows at the same time. Prime the heater by pressing the settings button and the down arrow at the same time, then the up arrow to start the pump, then the down arrow to stop.It didn't come with a 90 angle support bracket to mount to a wall like others brands do. I had to use some shelf brackets.

Works as it should, easy install
So far so good. I have been using this on a regular basis to heat a small bus while renovating the inside. It has been in the negatives (Fahrenheit) every night and most days here the last couple months. Before insulating it took a few hours to get the bus from about -2 to 50 degrees. After insulating, it takes about an hour to get from 30s to 70s. I had a friend install it, but he had no issues. Took him about 15 minutes to install.

Sets off our O2 monitor
The fan was going out on our other Diesel heater so we decided on this one as a replacement. Our old one had a dial to control the heat setting, and I had seen other comments on FB from users that the digital control is better than the dial. When we hooked tis one up the book says that there is a manual setting and a temp setting. The manual is an extremely poor translation to english and the controls dont even look like the one in the book. The codes for different functions were not the same and I got lucky in getting it to work on the temp setting, after it had run a short time our O2 monitor went off. I shut the heater off aired out the space and made sure I was back at a 0 reading, turned the heater back on and a few minutes later the monitor jumped from 0 to 30 and started to climb. again turned it off and tried again to the same result. It is probably using to much fuel but trying to figure out how to make that adjustment on the digital controller is impossible when the codes dont match for the different functions, and the instructions make no sense. One of the lines in the instructions is the following:maximum oil value set by the parameter, which makes gears clearly shown and is very convenient for the part old hands. If anyone can tell me what that means I would give you the prize in translation. Needless to say we are returning it and getting the same one we had before with the dial. They really need to do a better manual that is translated better and has controls and codes that match enough to basically understand. Oh and the remote had no read out but the pairing instructions said to hold this button until this code appeared on the remote. I was able to get the remote to work but not from any help from the manual.
