My hat size is 7 5/8. Using the size chart for the hat indicated that I should order an x-large. Well... An x-large was too big. But, I really liked the hat. So I ordered sizing strips. Now... A perfect fit!Years ago I had the Stetson version of this hat. When I decided to replace it I found that the Stetson was twice the price of the Panama Jack. So I ordered the Panama Jack. It is my favorite of all of the hats I have.One caveat. If my hat is any indication, this "model" of the hat is a little bit large for the size indicated.I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting this style of hat. Very good quality!

The hat was shipped in a professional manner and arrived early.It totally beat my expectations a truly great product great for casual wear on my sailboat. This is now my favorite hat.

I wear it as a rain hat and or sun blocker. Very durable and comfortable to wear

It is a nice hat. The right side had a crease that did not look natural. But after it was rained on, I was able to make the crease look more normal. I do recommend the hat.

Best fit and best looking hat I've ever owned. I wanted to avoid the fedora hat look and style, and this Panama Jack Safari Sun hat nails it! I'm not a hat person and I wear hats only for sun protection. Looks, fit and style is top shelf!

The hat fits me well. I sprayed Scotch Guard on it because I wanted to have some water resistance in case I get caught in a Summer shower and, also, to make it more stain resistant...

I love these hats and buy a new one every year. I also have the ventilated model.I wear a 7 5/8 and the extra large size is perfect for me. It rests just above my ears and is comfortable out of the box. You can add tape to made them smaller. ( tape provided.These are washable. I have one 20 year old ventilated hat that i use for work. I added a stampede strap to keep it on in the wind.Note that these cloth hats will shrink with washing!I have a large size wood hat stretcher I got here on amazon. I use that stretcher on all my hats and caps because many hats are just too chinese small. They are little over there!Wash it and stretch to fit.The 2.5 inch brim is especially good for large hat sizes. A 3 inch brim makes the hat look really large if you have a big Brain Pan.I highly recommend these hats.I have one for work. One for nice events. Buy a new one when the nice one gets funky. Throw away the oldest one.
