So far so good.
Last one (different model, different brand, same manufacturer, likely same mechanism inside) starting smelling like burnt rubber after 3 years and had to go. Replace yesterday, easy enough (although this larger case has input in different spot and had to be hanged differently), but works well. Digital temperature is useful, but measures temp somewhere in tank and not at faucet. It's much better to have it instead of analog dial where the temp itself is unknown. We'll see if we get more than 3 years out of it. Warranty is for 1 year. The tea I made tasted fine.

Great addition to the kitchen
It won't give you a gallon of boiling water, and it slows down dispensing once you empty the storage tank, but it is fast to recover. It can make a descent cup of tea, but wait for it to recover before going for the second one, or you'll get colder water. Still, the only alternative would be a bigger unit.

Can’t do without this
It does take up under sink cabinet space, but for near boiling water in a second, it is space well used. Had one in our old house and installed one in our new and had nothing but good service and quick soups, pour over coffee, tea and quick hot water for burnt on messes on pans. I hooked mine to the RO hose and the faucet gives me cold and hot water. I have a “T” going from the RO to the fridge. The hot faucet has a detent to prevent scalds if accidentally bumping it.Once you have an instant hot you will not be able to live without it.

Small but annoying drawback
Being digital is convenient but... If you have a power outage (even a brief one) one has to turn on the heater manually unlike the analogue model that is always on. IMO, it's a non-negligible design flaw, which could have been easy to rectify with some battery or even a capaticitor-based backup for a few minutes.

Replaced little gourmet with this unit
Replaced my broken little gourmet unit with this one. Nice upgrade. Easier to use, looks nicer, and water comes out faster.

Hot water!
I love the adjustable temp of the hot water. It gets scalding hot. I had a different brand before and the water never got this hot. Perfect for oatmeal, tea, coffee and cooking. It’s basically boiling so no time at all to get it to boil on the stove after being added to a pot.

Works nice, would get manual dial next time.
Works well, Instant hot water, dual tap for the money is great. The digital version does not come back on after power outage. I would actually consider manual dial version next time and even consider power timer off during the night to save energy. The unit is warm to the touch so there is a bit of power consumption all the time (equivalent to 60w lightbulb?).
