ClubmanPinaud Lilac Vegetal After Shave Lotion, 12 Ounce (Pack of 2)

This is not an easy scent to get your head around. I hadn't used it in many years and when I first smelled this it was like OMG I used to wear this? But I think it is, for lack of a better term, "an aquired fragrance". I think, in part, because this is not a "sweet lilac" but a bracing one. And so much of what is for men is now rather sweet and cloying (like Axe body spray!.........please.) You know, this was one of the fragrances that gave old time barber shops that certain Je ne c'est quoi. Give it some time, really. One day that one you never thought would notice will stop with a curious look and say, "Hmm, I smell a man.".

Amazing! Fragrance is back to its original formula. Remember it from 50 years ago.

I've been using Lilac Vegetal for many yearsas an after shave lotion. The scent is agreeableto me, not overwhelming, and it can be purchasedin bottles of various sizes. The price remainsreasonable, esp. if purchased in larger 12 oz. bottles.Note that the 12 oz. bottles are plastic so there isnot much risk of breakage during shipment.

The Old-school aftershave was received very quickly, and packed very well. Would reorder again when required. This is typical barbershop scent which I first tried at a barbershop in the 60s.

Hard to find product these days. Had not seen any for years. The fragrance is OK but not like I remember from the 1960's. Still OK. Will buy again.

I like the cool feeling. It smells fresh and clean. The smell doesn't stay strong too long, but I was looking for an aftershave not a cologne.

It may be me but the original LV of fifty years ago seems to have had a stronger scent and feel.
