TeraFlex 1853910 Tie Rod Kit (JK HD)

This upgrade is awesome, it increases the strength of your tie rod and front end by more than 50% compared to factory tie rod. It works great also with the falcon shock 2.2 steering stabilizer.

This replaces a MOOG that was installed less than 18 months ago and failed. So we are hoping this will do far better than the MOOG. Amazon also left us high and dry by first telling us they would replace the MOOG then saying "Oops! That was a mistake! We are NOT going to replace it." One thing to decline, but to initially say they were going to make good on it then saying forget it? BAD FORM AMAZON! BAD FORM!But so far this new Teraflex seems to be just fine. Time will tell.

Seems to be a good heavy duty unit. The stabilizer piece did not fit the factory stabilizer shock. Had to order a new shock. This was installed on a 2014 JKU. Did not have to make any modifications to install this.

At this price point and with Teraflex reputation I expected way more. One of the joint boots arrived torn and the only way to get a replacement was to return the entire tie rod and wait 30 days. I ended up keeping it. Within 30 days of purchase the left jam nut seized up to one side despite both of them being torqued to spec. The Allen bolt that you use to hold to loosen the screw that removes the tie rod stripped immediately when I tried to take it off. I've spent tens of thousands on Teraflex parts for my two Jeeps. I will probably look elsewhere going forward.

This tie rod is extremely HD! It was such an easy install. Worth the money. I'd you are looking for an upgrade to your steering look no further than Teraflex's HD tire rod.
