Brother P-Touch Embellish Elite Connectable Decorative Ribbon and Tape Printer (PTP715EBT), white

So cute and functional! I love that this model can print on many sizes of tape, and on ribbons! What I am sad about is a lot of tape is wasted in between cuts. even with the auto cut settings off, the last piece will laways get stuck and will release a large amount of blank tape upon the next text. The app was easy to use and navigate. there were many ready to use formats too!

Used to print labels on satin ribbon. Worked great!

I am so disappointed this doesn’t work because I was so excited to finally get one! The printing is aweful and does not print clearly but very grainy and it misses so much of the design. I don’t recommend it at all unfortunately:/

Excellent with one starter tape missing from box.

I use this to add names and sentiments to greeting cards and ornaments. It’s easy to use and does a great job. It does require ribbon/tape cartridges made specifically for the machine. The app is a little clunky to use, but overall works well.

So I tried to get this working on my phone and/or my computer for about a week off and on. On my phone I downloaded P-touch Design and Print 2. I didn't realize it was the wrong one. I tried and tried to get it to recognize my printer but it wouldn't give me a choice of that model and the Bluetooth search wouldn't show it. I downloaded the app on my computer and it too wouldn't work as it said I needed to update the driver. I was about to call Brother for help, thinking something was defective on my machine. Then I browsed their website and found a page that gave me the app, the driver, and the Brother app... I installed them all, and the app again. This worked! I also found that I did the wrong app on my phone and it should just be Design and Print, without the 2. Note: You will need your box to enter your machine's serial number when you set up your account.So I went to design the ribbon you see in the photo. I was able to upload my photo (for the Hi in His). I was able to find some nice borders, including vines... how perfect! The selection of options isn't huge, but being that you can bring in simple designs it's fine. I have a background in computer art and do crafting with a cutting machine, so the app itself was easy enough to figure out, but if you are not computer savvy it may be too difficult to do advanced designs. I however didn't see how to cut a V into the end of the ribbons, just the flat cut.I am thrilled with the results! It comes out professional looking and stunning! It's truly a satin feel and the print meshing right into it. The cartridge was easy to pop in. However they don't currently have a lot of replacement cartridges available... especially the 1" ones. I hope they get the red with gold soon as it would be beautiful for Christmas themed things! I recommend this to any crafters who want to up your game... pretty easy and elegant.

This is a very cool little printer. It should be noted that it works with many different types of label cartridges too and not only ribbon. So it’s kind of a “two-in-one” sort of P-Touch Printer.It works both with the app and also on your computer. Though using the app makes this printer very portable. . . . I find creating labels on my computer is easier. But that’s just me.If you go to the brother site. . . then to support and downloads. . . then find the PT-P715eBT printer. . . then click on Consumables & Accessories. . . . .You’ll find that there is a long list of different tapes and ribbons which work for this printer. I actually had to contact Brother to find out where to find this information, but once I found it. . . I bookmarked it. Though there are only a few ribbon options right now. . . You can create a design to spice them up and being able to add names and occasions is REALLY cool.

I was so excited to receive this little printer. I don’t have anything like it and its uses are endless. I’ve been on a major declutter and organize mission, so I thought this would be helpful with labeling totes and boxes. It’s a compact little device so it’s quite easy to carry around from room to room or pack if I wanted to take it with me elsewhere. Once the printer was charged, I loaded the included ribbon and connected it to my phone. It was a simple process that took maybe a minute. The app is nicely designed and has tons of designs. I haven’t used the computer software much yet, but there is a lot more freedom than with the app. I chose a Halloween templates just to try it out and it printed it and cut the ribbon in seconds. The design was perfect and the ribbon feels nice and satiny. I’m ordering some tape refills so I can get started on my labeling project and they are a bit pricey at $15.99 each. That might not end up being that costly though depending on how much I can get done per refill. I’m also looking forward to using this around Christmas for some decorating and present wrapping. I think it will give things a more personal feel and allow me to choose exactly what I want to say rather than going with whatever preprinted ribbon I can find at the store. With the amount of use I’ll get from this combined with how well it works, I think this is a great device at a great price. I hope they release more refill options in the future, which I think will happen since this is a new product. I highly recommend this for anyone that enjoys organizing, personalizing or just being crafty.
