Best laptop I have owned. A lot of tech for the money. Runs smoothly no matter the task. Games like Microsoft Flight Sim and Halo run great. I don’t find that it gets too hot. Fans spin up, but that is expected. Beautiful screen. I had low expectations here, so surprised. Movies look amazing. Very user upgradable. I added a second HD (1 TB). I upgraded to 32G RAM. Super easy. Battery life is just ok, but didn’t expect too much from a gaming laptop. Keyboard and backlight is nice. Dell software for updates and maintenance is a nice plus. Alien Software also a nice surprise,. Laptop is nice just for web browsing, personal/business work and when want to play games it performs. Highly recommended. I like the design. Plenty of ports and I find they are well placed.

i needed a laptop that can handle every day work and some casual gaming this turns out to be perfect for me only problem was that it can be really hot while gaming but the games work great and i can handle the heat so for that price i would recommend it to anyone.

I bought this laptop to take with me for light gaming and digital art(with an art tablet) while leaving the house. Plays most my games quite well and the screen size is a great match with my art tablet. Runs my art programs nicely as well! Temperatures can get quite hot though on this laptop especially with the summer heat in my area so I would recommend also investing in some kind of laptop cooling platform as well.Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I bought this laptop 1 year ago and it has already broken. The screen has gone black and and the keyboard backlight flashes every 5 seconds. It doesn’t turn on I have contacted Dell and they won’t replace it. I am never going to buy a Dell again, they’re customer service is embarrassing and they don’t care about their customers.

I got this more for a workhorse system than gaming, as its hard to get high-performance laptops that aren't gaming centric. While this is a great laptop specs-wise and I've had zero technical issues with it, the laptop tends to run pretty warm even when idle.Battery life isn't great. It's not terrible but even when idle with eco mode enabled it only lasts 2-3 hours which is disappointing.Because of the GPU and extra fans it's not only a heavier than a sleeker system, it's thick and bulky. Using this in your lap will actually be uncomfortable. Ultimately it's more of a portable gaming rig than a laptop.
