Q: Will these work on a pair of 8.5 Mens slip on skechers ?

It does stretch and I think it will fit. My mom size is 7.5 and I am 6 and it fit perfectly fine. I cannt be 100 percent sure but I guess you can always return if it doesnt fit.

Q: Large or oversized for boot size Mens 11?

As I write this on Jan 8, 2018, the product description sizing makes little sense. So I will give the US sizing from the original package here. Small Women 5-8 , Men 4-7 Medium Women 8.5-11 , Men 7.5-10 Large Women 11.5-13 , Men 10.5-13 Oversize Bulky 10+ or Standard 13.5-15+ I take a 13 Men's and ordered a large, that was a mistake; one of them broke getting onto a non-bulky 13 boot. I just checked the one that did not break, and the large is too small for a good fit on 13 men's. Large may be ok for non-bulky men's 11.
