After a series of excellent risk management and trading books by Steve, here comes a book that is the best in its class for developing a personal trading system and process. This book summarizes how successful trading is a “Good mix of Trade management and Risk management”.Investors, Traders, beginners as well as experienced, focus on stock investing/trading strategies for profit and to minimize loss but very rarely come across a well documented book that provides in-depth reasoning on profit making strategies. This book helps with understanding the tools and the processes needed for developing a personalized trading system based on entry and exit signals that can be customized to the trader’s strengths and weaknesses.A must read for all types of markets and trading styles, Trend, Range and few others mentioned in the book. Book also helps the subset of people who are both investors and traders, most of the techniques explained here also help 401k investors with clear explanation of entry and exit signals

Learnt many new things about trading which were not in other books that I have read. Wish the book was longer to explain more facets of trading.

Great book overall. My biggest takeaway was this part of the book“Another key to trading profitability will be the ability to hold a winning trade and let it go as far as possible and not exit it until there’s a valid reason. Winning trades should only be exited for a reason and not an emotion. You will need the big wins to pay for all the small losses and cutting winners short will greatly hurt your profitability. Do not get out of a trade until your signal tells you to, but when it does, then get out!”Definitely recommend all new traders read this book.

I love this little book. It was cheap and used terminology familiar to me from charting the securities I have been trading. It mostly confirmed what I was already doing and helped organize and expand my knowledge. Investing is one of the few ways for a geezer like me to earn extra cash, but of course, you are living by your wits and working without a net, so you bloody well better know what is in this book, because nobody is lucky enough to survive otherwise.

It has some excellent points for beginners, but those points are very hard to understand without charts to illustrate them. This book has very few charts. It would be a much better book if it had the charts to explain all it's points.

While I have used many of the indicators mentioned in this book...and I continue to use a few of them. I have also found incredible value for trend trading in the Aroon oscillator and the ADX/DM/DI, which give me near pinpoint accuracy with trend reversals.Overall, this is an outstanding little tome. I highly recommend it.

This book opened my eyes to so many mistakes I was making while trading. In addition I found several other books written by the author that gave even more needed information to make successful in the market.

I recommend this book to anyone trading that has not read it. I have been trading for years and would not have known about it if it was not for reading " New Trader Rich Trader". A fabulous recommendation please buy and see for yourself!!
