... have to say that I was not going to like the Hydro Peak over my Zojirushi coffee tumblers
I have to say that I was not going to like the Hydro Peak over my Zojirushi coffee tumblers. I expected it to be okay and pretty, nevertheless. WOWZER! WAS I WRONG!! The first day I used it my coffee stayed hot, and I am not embellishing, for 12 hours. But, the most unique feature (I've never experienced before) was the freshness of the coffee lasting as long as the temperature! I thought it was my imagination so I took notice again the second day... same thing. Third day... same thing!! I will usually have quite a bit of coffee leftover and at the end of the day down the drain it goes. I've not thrown out any coffee from the Hydro Peak. Drank it all right up to bedtime because it was so delicious and comforting tasting. It was a still warm and fresh! My mouth smiled as I took more sips; as if I was starting the day again! I am also approving of the lid design. It is easy to use with one hand to open and close.I love this mug so much that I bought a second one. I'm sure before it's all over with I will have purchased the rest of the line. This is a fabulous mug but the fact that it still tastes fresh at the end of day is the ceiling buster on my satisfaction!!You will be just as happy as I am when you have your own collection to use. A product worth purchasing! ❤ Thank you, Hydro Peak, for making such an exemplary coffee tumbler!

It does keep things hot but not sturdy. No replacement parts to purchase
Within a weeks time the latch that keep the led close pop off and was lost. The screw in the back comes loose. It does keep things hot but not sturdy. No replacement parts to purchase. I will not buy this again.

Way too expensive for the problems I've encountered with two of these mugs I ordered. They have never been through the dishwasher, but the pin holding the two top pieces together came out very quickly on both mugs rendering them useless as insulated travel mugs. When they are new and working properly they keep my coffee hot for hours upon hours.

NOT GREAT BUT NOT AWFUL EITHER
Hydro Peak 17oz Double Wall Vacuum Insulated High Quality 304 Stainless Steel Coffee Travel Mug, One Touch Lock Lid Thermos Water Bottle, Keeps Drinks Hot for 12 Hours and Cold for 24, Mulberry RedThis advertisement is terribly misleading. It says the product is one-touch lock lid Thermos water bottle. It claims it will keep drinks hot for 12 hours and cold for 24.True Thermos brand stainless steel vacuum bottles will do this, as I have bought about 6 different styles over the last 8 years or so. This said it was a Thermos water bottle so I ordered two of them, as it looks like the ones I am currently using, but it turns out they are a Chinese knock-off of the Thermos brand bottles. The bottle is quite pretty, and I have a smaller one I ordered straight from China, but they do no hold heat or cold very long. If you regularly drink your drink fairly quickly (within a hour or so) it won't be a problem But it you leave it sitting around you will find it has turned tepid after a couple of hours. And that's if a cold drink isn't exposed to the heat and vice versa. For example, I fill my smaller bottle with orange juice before I sit on my deck each day. I only stay out 15 minutes and by the time I come back in the house the drink is just barely chilled. I can do this with my Thermos brand bottles and the orange juice will still be icy cold when I come in.And, as other reviewers have stated, the latch is a very flimsy affair that is hard to unlatch and relatch. Forget about using one hand.In addition, the bottle didn't fit my mouth well. My nose hit the lid and my bottom lip and chin kept hitting the latch making it uncomfortable to drink out of the bottle. What I do like about the bottle is the stopper system. My one big complaint (besides peeling paint on my newer bottles) is that the silicon stopper get mold in it. I wash it in a peroxide solution, so there is no bio hazard there, but the black mold stains, left behind, are unsightly. And that is why I ordered two new bottles. I've found the Thermos brand bottles look decent for about a year unless you are super faithful about watching out the lid when you are finished with your drink. I'm not always able to do that, as I'm disabled, so I replace my bottles once a year or so.So far, my small Hydro Peak (I could tell what the name was in Chinese) bottle stopper has held up well. I wish I could combine their stopper system with Thermoses great insulation. My advice is to spend a few more dollars and purchase the Thermos 16 Ounce Stainless Steel Commuter Bottle, Raspberry (https://smile.amazon.com/Thermos-Stainless-Commuter-Bottle-Raspberry/dp/B00EO0JZKI/ref=pd_sim_79_12?ie=UTF8&dpID=31PLkYcPZ9L&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&psc=1&refRID=PVF6E3GT0DQ9675JAMN5) in the stainless steel color and you won't have to worry about chipping paint (which I've only had trouble with because someone put the bottles in the dishwasher which is a big NO, NO. I think the stainless color is only 3 dollars more and you will be thrilled with how well it keeps your drinks hot or cold regardless of outside or inside temperatures.

Good for Camping Not Thrilled with Plastic Lid
Took it camping. It kept water cold in 91 degrees all day and kept coffee hot all morning.Only complaints are about the plastic components:that there's a loop at the top of the bottle but it's plastic. I connected it to a backpack. It worked okay but I'm worried it will break after repeated use. I wish it had a metal loop on the side or something a little sturdier than plastic. Also the locking latch on the front popped off. It just snapped back into place, but I wish it hadn't come off in the first place. I'm not thrilled that the lid is plastic, however the ceramic lip on the inside of the lid is fantastic. It gets a really tight seal. That's a fair trade off.I've owned a few aluminium water bottles but this is the best I've tried so far. However I suspect the plastic pieces will give out before the rest of the bottle does.

It's good for car trips
I've used the thermos half a dozen times now, and it does keep drinks cold for many hours. It's good for car trips. It says not to drink hot coffee straight from the thermos, but if you put it in the thermos at the temperature you're comfortable drinking, of course it's no problem. My coffee doesn't come out of the brewer scalding hot, so I've been fine drinking it straight from the thermos.

Love this.
This mug is great. Keeps my coffee warm all day and is so easy to clean. That's probably my favorite part. It will not get that nasty coffee build up and smell because there are no small parts that you can't get to for cleaning. I love the color and finish, too.
