Better than I thought it would be
I thought it would be so much louder, but it ended up being a gentle hum. :D Pleasantly surprised by how nice it is. Haven't tried cleaning it yet, but I don't think it'll be too difficult; I wish the blending compartment came off for easier cleaning, but, oh well.

Cute, gets the job done, slightly awkward lid
I wanted a brown grinder to match my other coffee equipment, this one is cute and matches. As long as you properly 'pulse' it, it grinds well, I grind really fine for my french press. The grinding compartment is deep enough so coffee doesn't get all over when you take the lid off (my old one makes a mess on the counter). There's a little button/rod in the lid that's slightly awkward to line up when you put the lid on the base, not a bid deal once you get the hang of it, but a bit frustrating the first few times.

Pretty good
So it is hard to clean under the blade. I primarily use this for the herbs that we dry. Usually I just wipe it out with a damp cloth. When putting the lid on, if you don't have it exactly lined up, it can be a pain.

Depends on what you want to use it for
The ad says coffee beans, spices, and more. I got it to grind three things - whole cloves, dried minced onions, and some horse-pill-sized supplements. I do not recommend grinding whole cloves. It ground everything very well - almost too well. In the case of the dried minced onion and the supplement, curls of very fine dust (and a lot of it) floated out as soon as I opened after grinding. This is dangerous to breathe in. In the case of the whole cloves, which is the first thing I used this with, it left a residue on the inside plastic part of the rim, and the abrasion from the grinding of the cloves sandblasted the inside of the clear lid - it is no longer clear, and has a light sandblasted texture: my concern is microplastic bits left in the ground-up cloves. I don't know if there is, but it is obviously somewhat likely. No matter how much I wipe out the bowl, this thing now smells permanently of clove and onion. And the plastic rim at the top of the bowl, permanently stained brown from the cloves, and still smelling of cloves. So, as a grinder, it works GREAT. But, don't try whole cloves. And maybe leave it dedicated to one thing, like coffee beans, since it appears the odors cannot be gotten rid of. I can recommend this grinder if you are keeping it dedicated to one thing only, such as coffee beans, so that you don't have to worry about trying to get the odors out of other things. It's also difficult to clean, in general, because you can't take out the bowl, and you can't really get under the blades to clean there. It's a cute model; I like how it looks so much cuter than other grinders. It's also cute in white. So many of the other grinders are only offered in black. Sometimes color variations, even neutral ones, are a nice option.

The more you start with the better it grinds!
I was trying to grind small amounts so it would grind better. It was staying too coarse. I added more beans and now it’s perfect. Small price big results!

Good coffee grinder
Great coffee grinder. The lid doesn't close easily, but for the price it works great.

Better than expected
I picked this one up for a little help grinding bud because I have rheumatoid arthritis in my hands. I certainly didn't want to spend a lot of money and this was the most cost-effective one in the stand up type. And it's freaking awesome! It's much bigger than I thought it was going to be. And it's much quieter than I assumed it would be when operating. It would be fantastic for grinding coffee beans but if you're picking it up for a little bud grindage you will be happy to know that this will be a wonderful accessory for your Magical Mystery Tour. I loosely break up bigger buds when I drop them in the very generous reservoir just so they don't bounce around too much. You can really get the grind that you would like. If you want to smoke nothing but Keif consistency then let it rip. If you like my sister-in-law and don't like to find a grind then just pulse it once or twice. It's very easy to use and it saved this stoner's hands. Thank you. It's much appreciated. Now I can actually take my medicine.

A great little budget grinder
This little grinder is the most quiet out of the multiple other grinders I have tried. It has a fairly large capacity, which is nice if you have a larger french press and don't want to have to grind your coffee in batches. The only bummer is that the cup is part of the grinder and not detachable, but that may not be a big deal for everybody.
