Is amazon really not an authorized retailer of ego? ego's warranty is very strict and amazon is not on the list of retailers on their website.

Be careful about this. I read a user that couldn't do a warranty claim because his Amazon purchase came from a secondary seller. In order for it to be covered from Amazon it needs to be bought directly from Amazon and not another seller on Amazon. As far as amazon being an authorized seller, well you would think so considering EGO'S website directly links you to Amazon for their products.
