Great. Very effective for me.
I am 5’8” 115 lbs, and I ordered a medium that fits perfectly. I am also an incomplete quad from a 5-6 cervical spinal cord injury from long ago (1984). I used a splint while like this soon after my injury to prevent remedy an extremely mostly paralyzed tight left hand. I used it only while sleeping. It worked great then, and I didn’t really need to wear it longer than about 6 months. Now, 40 years later, I have had a medication change, that made the hand tight again. I prefer the milder med, so I again I sought out a hand splint. This one is great. It’s nicely cushioned and is exactly like the one I received long ago in rehab. Well, it’s done the job again, after some months (I’ve lost track), but I continue to use at night while sleeping.

Good secondary brace!
This is an awesome value. I have spasticity from a stroke. The arm brace helps when I need it. The one I got at the hospital is now too big, and I had gotten another one with better padding to replace it. I lost my good brace and needed another option I could AFFORD. This fit the bill. I finally found my good brace, so this one can stay in the car and go with me to visit people, so that I don't have to carry my good one with me.I would have given it five stars, but there are two problems. 1. there is something wrong with the way the thumb fits, and I can't even figure out exactly what the problem is, but the band won't stay around the thumb. 2. the padding is thin, much less than m y other one. It is uncomfortable to wear when you are sleeping, which is when I would mostly wear mine. HOWEVER, at this price point, I highly recommend it. Keep it as a backup. I'm thinking of getting an additional one to keep at my parents.

thought that this splint would have been better than the half soft and hard cast doc put on my hand
Price wise I was actually satisfied. To be fair the way the splint is made it felt so much more comfortable than the fully wrapped cast hard on my pinky side soft on my index fingers side. I actually loved it but I didn’t want to go against my doctor’s advice and be considered a patient who is non compliant. It’s easy to put on and take off while you avoid itching due to everything being touched by air. Then again doctors advise was to keep it wrapped until the entire wound was completely healed only then you can consider it but even then I was sent home with a plastic type hard cast open on one end closed on the other with velcro straps. Depending on what the patient needs if this splint was something your doc agreed would be good for your injury then I absolutely 💯 % for sure recommend everyone to get one. I had 3 metacarpals shattered along with my index middle and ring fingers which required surgery to repair the damage with pins to hold all the broken bones in place. As much as it hurt I still felt in my gut that the doctor is right and frankly now my hands range and motion is slowly improving although I feel like it’s taking a much longer time to heal but no splint is required anymore or else I’m positive that I would have opted for the splint shown above.

Too largely confused
The part for my thumb is too large. The Velcro won't keep my thumb secure. Which means my thumb keeps slipping out. I'm a 5'9 1/2 female, with a ring finger size of a 9 1/2, I'm not petite or small. I thought since there isn't a hand chart, that I should order a large just to be safe. BAD idea. Maybe a small. I didn't know which size to order. I will return it.

Supports hand and wrist with mobility
My orthopedic doctor is trying his best to figure out if I’m struggling with a nerve issue (pain in palm of hand, numbness and tingling in ring and pinky finger from using a walker) ….or something other. In the meantime, I purchased this in hopes to keep my wrist, hand and fingers still. It works wonderfully! It is comfortable and keeps everything steady. I’ve noticed that my hand is thanking me for keeping everything in its place …ha! It’s easy to put on. The only issue for myself is that my finger tips and hand may move up just a little and I’ll need to slide it back down. Other then that, I’m very happy! If your looking for something to prevent any further damage to your hand or wrist and keep it from not moving at all, this splint is the one. Definitely best to use when resting. Ty
