Miele UltraColor Liquid Detergent – Highly Effective Liquid Detergent for Colors and Dark/Black Items - 1.5L (50 fl oz)

Miele performs better than almost every other detergent on the market. I add some oxygen bleach to this with whites, and I love that since there are no brightness my darks stay dark.

I no longer have a Miele washer, but I still use their detergent cause it works the best of all the brands I’ve tried over the years. Though it states for color, I use it when washing my whites as well. You need very little, I use about a third less than suggested, though it is rare that I do large loads: mostly a couple jeans, a few tees, and a bath towel size laundry. I highly recommend it. The scent is pleasant.

I took the plunge and got a Miele washer and dryer set last fall. I purchased all the detergents to go with the system, and I love this detergent! It has a barely-there scent which I appreciate (previously I was using Method's unscented detergent because I hate all the fruity/flowery detergent scents on the market). A bottle lasts a really long time. My clothes look better than they have in awhile, too. I think this detergent has a lot to do with that--it is gentle and doesn't fade colors. I use it for everything but whites and special fabrics like wool or silk.

Upon receiving this detergent and screwing off the cap, the scent of the detergent was a bit off-putting/strong. I did a load of colors with only a half a cap-full of detergent in my front loading machine (not a Miele). After the cycle, I just tossed the clothes in the dryer and went about my business. When the dryer cycle finished I opened the door and low and behold there was the most pleasing understated scent of clean clothes as if they were dried outside in the warm spring air.

I am new to the Miele Soap products and I must say that all of them are over the top fantastic. I really can't believe the difference in how wonderful these products work. As long as they don't new and improve the products I will never switch back to any other brands again. Really the best soap I've used in 40 years! Can't thank Miele enough! (This also uses such a small amount that the products really aren't as expensive as you think) I am saving not only on soap but also water and power. Truly Unreal to me!!!
