O'Brien Oval Shock Ball and Towable Tube Floats with Rope for Lake or River

Really lets you whip the tube around faster and more efficiently! Could really feel the difference once it gets up on the water (we had a trick to decelerate and then go again, super fast, to pop the ball up so it wasn't dragging in the water.) The plastic panels showed one end towards the boat and one towards the tube right on the ends however one panel was flipped (or two were flipped?) the wrong way so we weren’t sure which way was right so tried both. Pros and cons to each way but both were fun!

I was hesitant to purchase this ball because of the price point... but, it actually works great in helping keep the rope up and out of the water! I'm happy that I purchased it.

The media could not be loaded.  Keeps the rope out of the water, which reduces spray on the riders, allows the towable to more easily move side to side, and reduces the jerking that can occur when the rope drags in the water. This particular one is a good price and is a quality product. My brother has a different brand, and it is more of a conical shape vs an orb shape. I like this one better. The other gets turned around when trying to let out the rope.

We used this product 5 times and the seems are all cracked. They can not be fixed with patches. We purchased it in late 2022 (winter) but only used it this summer. I would not recommend this product. I will upload pictures next time we go to the cottage.
