270 lbs, 48W. XXL.
So I'm sitting at 270lbs and I'm 48 at the waist. I believe the XXL is for 41-44W, but I'm at a 48W myself and it fits snug. If you're any bigger I'm afraid it might not work out. The "zipper" velcro is the one that's kinda being stressed, but the horizontal velcro strap is locking it all in. I'm able to kick just fine, but YMMV. Figured I'd leave this here for any big fellas who might need it. I'll be cutting weight soon and likely drop fast, but the velcro feels secure and I'm sure it'll accommodate me fine as I shrink. I haven't had a chance to get too sweaty in it or run through any washes yet, so I'll update this review if it becomes a problem.Aside from that, they look great. The material feels sturdy and smooth, I expect that even if it loses its sheen, it'll function fine. I couldn't find many other brands out there that'll accommodate my size, so I'm glad Hayabusa does; their stuff is premium.

These shorts are the best
These Shorts are amazing, for bjj I love the Velcro straps and Velcro opening at the middle crouch area along with a draw string. Also like that they are mid thigh, BJJ shorts that are long hanging on the knees are annoying. The thick material ensures they will last longer than two weeks. I don’t care for the BJJ shorts that look like basketball shorts….

Fit as expected minimal issues
Comfortable, I wear them every week to Muay Thai. Good range of motion and stay secure with the rubber grip on the inside of the waste band and velcro. I cold wash with medium spin and hang dry. The only note worth making is when you wash them make sure all the Velcro is latched or the draw string will get stuck to the Velcro and begin to fray when you pull it off. Other than that very good and am entertaining buying another pair.Bought a Medium and am 5 ft 7 in, 158lbs.

I don't like the draw string..
Bought these for No-Gi and Muay Thai. The fabric is comfortable against the skin and does not inhibit range of motion. I enjoy the waistband has some rubber antislip detail. Doesn't chaff nor feel uncomfortable. I've rolled in these plenty so far and have yet to find them slipping. Quick drying too. There was a card showing how to tie the draw string and I thought it would be simple enough. ..No it's not. Lost the card and have resigned tying however I can get the most snug fit. Thinking about just cutting it so I have laces to tie.

Sick
These are solid. They fit just right, u barley even know you have shorts on which is great when u just need to focus on what’s in front of you. Best fighting/training shorts I’ve found so far.

Great shorts
I never disappointed with Hayabusa. I bought these for a grappling tournament to match a rash guard from Hayabusa. They do run small I had to order a size up XL. I’m 5’10 182. The gelled waist line prevents them from falling. The draw strings due help tighten up. They were a little stiff when I took them out the package. Once I put them on they were fine. I had no problems or distractions when I was training with the shorts. Hayabusa is my go to and yes I would recommend these shorts. Just make sure to check your size.

Great shorts
They’re very comfortable from the first time wearing them. Have held up fine in the wash so far. They also look great but you do need some longer compression shorts unless you want your twig and berries hanging out.

Excellent mobility
Very comfortable, doesn’t limit mobility at all, rubber lining around the waist keeps them up. The tie up system is weird though
