What can I say. Got exactly what i ordered. Don't know how these were so cheap. Quick shipping. Got these because i cracked one of my other ones during a move. So now I have a full set, plus 1 half back up.

The heat deflectors were a replacement for mine that broke for no reason except normal use. I ordered some from Kamado Joe using warranty and they did not have any available for several months so I ordered and payed for them using Amazon. They do what they are intended for and they are great to use for a low and slow cook.

i tried a cheaper version and it was a waste of money. these are teh ones to get for the big joe

Great product but very pricey. If you have a Kamado Joe grill this is something you must have. I like the fact the deflector plate comes in two parts. One thing, you must know from someone who has had a grill for 5+ years is that these deflector plates do crack. This is my third set. When the grill is extremely hot and a beer but chicken, for example, drains a significant amount of liquid onto the plate after it is super hot, it will crack. To me, it’s just part of the grilling experience. I just wish I could find a replacement that did not cost quite as much.

I was using this heat deflector plate to smoke a whole chicken this weekend!!! I had the temp. at 350*. When I was done the plate was broke!!! I don't think this should happen??
