Totally satisfied
One of the finest EDC pocketknives on the planet gets an amazing steel. For me the Delica 4 has the best ergonomics and affords all the important grips I use for various applications with a small footprint, easy to carry and tuck away. The K390 steel takes a very fine edge and is an excellent choice for edge retention. It did take me about twice as long to reprofile the edge to my taste over what VG10 took but now all I do is strop with the green Beavercraft compound. I have found that the wire edge wipes right off unlike the gummy high end stainless steels or low end stainless for that matter. K390 does take on a patina and can corrode if you don’t take care of it with a little mineral oil. The outstanding performance makes it all worth it for me. I grew up with carbon steel knives so taking care of them is nothing new here. I kind of like the antique look that comes with patina. I’m also finding the Huron Lake blue of the FRN scales a very attractive color choice. This is an outstanding choice for the money, an overall superb design and perfect choice of materials.

Light weight and stays sharp.
I love Spyderco knives but haven't been impressed with the VG 10 steel in this series of lockback knives, I wanted to try the K390 steel they have been rolling out. I use a kme sharpener with diamond stones and it sharpens blades as sharp as you feel safe using. This steel takes a little more time and effort than softer steels but it is worth it. This steel is not stainless and will darken with time if you don't wipe it down with a little oil especially if you cut food with a little acid in it, like fruit. I wouldn't recommend any prying with the tip unless you are wanting to make it shorter, that's a joke. Knives are for cutting not prying. Use the right tools for the job. I have been happy enough with the steel to have also bought the Spyderco Stretch 2 and the Dragonfly 2 in K390.

Spectacular little knife
The perfect daily carry knife. Light enough to forget it's there with the potential to hold an absolutely wicked edge thanks to the k390 steel. Reasonable price, not stainless so be aware.

Five Star K390 Blade
I bought the knife to try out a K390 blade. I have a diamond plate for sharpening it makes sharpening easy. Five Stars for the steel, the heat treat and the high Rockwell number. I really like the blade steel. Too bad it is not made in a cross pin lock. Imaginea Kershaw Bel Air with a K390 blade. One star off because I just do not like the handle texture. It might be a feature but it does not feel right in my hand. It is too rough for comfort; I have no plans to mud wrestle while holding the knife. However a few minutes with a swiss file improved things. The related issue is that rough handle texture, whether FRN or G 10 wears the edge of your pocket if you carry it clipped in. It is a matter of taste. FRN is OK for a pocket knife and many people like the signature grippy texture.I will keep it and carry it in rotation, but I think i am still one blade away from the perfect EDC folder.

Lightest knife I own, and holds and edge for months.
It's light, and it holds an edge for months at a time. It looks like a toy, but it's the best knife I own functionality and for EDC. I cut a LOT of cardboard with this, and it slices through it like butter.

A perfect daily edc!
The media could not be loaded. Hard, almost daily use in rainy Pacific Northwest. Beautiful color, lightweight, perfect size and Bühler K390 steel! Could I be more charmed..? I think not. Do yourself a favor, and take blade off, give it a 10min boiling hot vinegar bath. Then soak + lube with Ballistal or Super Lube. Gives a nice rust proof patina. Enjoy!

It's a delica
So glad I grabbed one of these in K390. It's already taking on a nice patina after just a few months of use. The Delica is a stellar design that really doesn't need anything else said about it. Great little slicer of a blade and small overall profile that makes it extremely pocketable. K390 is nice to work with, too. Easily stopped to maintain a super sharp edge.
