This is a practical addition to my kitchen. It's big enough to steam a large amount of vegetables at once. The handles stay cool, making it safe and easy to use. I appreciate that the tiers stack well for convenient storage. Overall, it's good value for money and does the job effectively. I'd recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable steamer. It is also a fantastic colander!

Many reviews say it discolours, but ours looms like new and is used several times per week. The size is great, but a 4th tier would make it even better. No regrets with this steamer.

large wide shallow steamer pan, holds large quantity of food on each layer, easily spread out and cooked quickly. Used the base pan to boil potatos at the same time. very reasonable price for a pan set that cooks on my induction hob quicker than my old electric steamer.

This steamer pot is of extremely poor quality! It started rusting after just one use, which is completely unacceptable. It’s also incredibly lightweight—I’m not even sure what material it’s made of. Feels cheap and poorly made. Definitely do not buy!

Bigger than I thought ( my fault) so family sized cooking. But excellent value and light to use

First off, the product page suggests that this steamer has a non-stick base that could be used as a casserole. This gives the impression that it might have a non-stick coating but in fact there is none and it is made from paper thin steel. The whole things is made from very thin steel which I suppose has the positive attribute of being light to handle - even the glass top is astonishingly thin.I have used this item with a halogen hob but I would have doubts about its suitability for some other types.An obvious snag in use is that the lid handle is metal and thus gets hot in use. I found the large diameter was a bit much for my needs but I suppose that means that food in a given level is more easily exposed to the steam. To be fair, it works as a steamer coming quickly to the boil and the food is therefore quickly cooked which is what you want it for I suppose.I suspect that this is not the last steamer I will buy.
