Diamond Candy Women's Waterproof Rain Jacket with Hood Lightweight Outdoors Raincoat

For such a cheap jacket it really did great. I was super warm actually sweating while in the snow. It is wind resistant. I loved the price. I didn't want anything expensive because I don't visit cold weather often. I would recommend this jacket to anyone who needs a snow jacket but doesn't want to spend a ton.***Update*** side pocket got a hole in it. Easy to stitch up. Still a good buy.***Update Again almost a year later*** We had some unexpected freezing weather in Texas where I live. I pulled this jacket out to wear because nothing I had would keep me warm. It worked great. I am nice and toasty. I still love the price. Its holding up great considering I am wearing it daily. I haven't tried to wash it.

I really liked this jacket and it served me well on my trip to Alaska. I ordered this jacket and the Columbia Arcadia II jacket at the same time to see which one I liked more. Not only was this jacket cheaper than the Columbia jacket, but it seemed like much better quality. The material of this jacket was much less plastic-like and it was lined, at least in the body area. There was plenty of room in the arms of the jacket, which is great for layering with sweaters underneath. I normally wear a size 10 to 12 and the large in this jacket fit just right. I really liked that the Diamond Candy jacket had more space in the arms and chest and was somewhat snug around my hips because it didn't make me look puffy and frumpy, like the Columbia did. Even though I ordered a larger size than this in the Columbia Arcadia II, the arms were overly snug and it was big everywhere else, which is definitely not ideal for layering and which made me look puffy. I ended up returning the Columbia Arcadia II and keeping this jacket. It worked out very well. I wore this jacket in the rain several times and it kept me warm and dry. Typically, I paired this with a long sleeve shirt or sweater, depending on how cool it was. This is not warm enough by itself to wear when it is very cold and the sleeves are not lined, so you will want to wear at least a long sleeve shirt underneath. I wore this with a light sweater when it got into the low 50's and I was rather cold. With a light sweater, this jacket is perfect in the 60's and low 70's. I would probably not wear this on a hot rainy day because I think it would be too warm for that, but it works perfectly for Alaska summers. I live in Southern California, so I have not worn this since I got back from my trip, but I am hoping to get some use out of it this winter. Overall, great purchase.

I travel to Ecuador as a volunteer into the cloud forest it rains every single day in this jacket is perfect it folds up fairly small I can fit into a backpack and taken out at a moment's notice when the rain begins to fall it drives very fast and keeps you very warm. I am five foot three and 173 lb and I got a size large and it fits perfect

Love my jacket! I bought this to go skiing and it worked great! I wore several layers underneath and it helped keep me warm and it definitely kept me dry, lol. (I fell a lot) I loved the design of the pockets too. They kept everything safe and waterproof. I kept my phone in my pocket the whole day with no problems.

I was skeptical about buying a jacket from Amazon but after looking at other online stores (L.L.Bean, Talbots, Lands End) this jacket was much less expensive and had the waterproofing I was looking for so decided to risk it. So glad I did. Very lightweight, love the color and lots of pockets. The fit is as expected. I'm 5'2" 120 lbs and the XS fits perfectly for me. I bought it to only wear light sweaters underneath and fits well. Since this is a straight line jacket which covers the butt and snaps at the bottom, I was concerned that it might be a little snug but it's not. Love the hot pink color and easy wash instructions. Would buy again.

Received this jacket today, and I'm very impressed. The jacket is made well with impeccable tailoring. Pockets have zippers with flaps to protectcontents (in pockets) from the rain, and the hood unzips. Normally I wear a small to medium size. I ordered a medium, and the size was good; however, the jacket is NOT roomy enough to wear very heavy clothes underneath (I would have needed a large size to accommodate heavy clothes). I suggest referencing the size chart, and measuring your hips. Since I bought the jacket for running, and a thermal top will be the heaviest top I will wear under the jacket, the medium will be fine. This jacket is well worth the money (even my Husband was impressed). Don't hesitate to order this jacket.

I bought this jacket for my trip to Ireland and England this Fall. I ordered the blue one in medium. I love this coat, plenty of room for a fleece/jumper underneath, lots of pockets with zips including one up high for safely storing my phone.I have just worn it during a very windy and often wet weekend in Devon and it kept me lovely and dry and warm. The hood is held tightly in place by Velcro and it stays out even when it's windy.Only negative is there's no hook for hanging it which is frustrating, other than that it's a fab coat!I highly recommend.

Mrs has a traditional long rain jacket which isn’t quite ideal for biking, its lightweight and quite comfortable. She already has rain jackets in black, purple, pink and blue. So thought of giving her a surprise with a different colour that isn’t long and at the same time can be worn whilst biking. I wanted something light weight and not very expensive and neither very cheap but at the same time a bit of a different colour.I was really taken a back when I opened the package. The Jacket really surpasses the quality that we have from – Regatta. The jacket is well made and has no uneven stitching anywhere. The jacket has reflectors which is helpful for night walks. Each pocket on each side has zip with again reflector on the sides. It surprised me with a pocket inside at the chest area, which you don’t get in most of the top brands for that price bracket. The pocket is quite deeps which easily takes Samsung S10 – it’s a sizable mobile. Additionally there is another zipped pocket on the outside top left side of the chest again has a reflector.The hood can be detached from the jacket giving a good fashion look.The finale was as soon as she wore the jacket it really impressed her with the fitting – Medium, giving a nice shape, fits perfect– picture attached for info.I contacted the seller to check if they have any other colour as my eldest wants it so badly, but again looking for a different colour, unfortunately they don’t have it or she may go for a green.NOTE: I found this is a good jacket for the budget price with good quality, you may or may not prefer a non-branded jacket but this has certainly made me think – not all made in china products are cheap quality for the cheap price. Large enough to wear a hoody underneath but still chose size 12. i bought myself and my daughter one we are both normaly size 12 they fit perfect. The colours are the same as pictures, i bought both pink and purple, not worn in heavy rain yet but confident they will be waterproof as did try pouring water over sleeve and it didnt leak through to inside.happy so far.

We bought this for our daughter who was due a new coat the jacket arrived promptly the quality is brilliant it has been worn multiple times in the rain already and has been perfectly warm and dry.It is a nice light weight waterproof jacket it’s enough to wear a hoody underneath, the material is very strong the colours are the same as pictures.The hood is a big size so that's great for covering the all of your head if your hair is even in a ponytail which We have had problems with other coats in the past.Pockets are of great size to put your phone and stuff in all in all very happy with this purchase and I would definitely recommend this jacket.
