I found this sketchbook by accident. I like the sheets it offers. So I decided to take a chance and order it.I just received it today. The book is quality made. The papers are thick and nice, I really like the feel of them. The sketchbook is super cute. I like everything about it. I definitely will keep ordering it.

I got these to replace the insert my refillable journal came with. They're PERFECT. The original insert had very poor paper quality that pens bled through and the yellowish "antique" color of the paper was unappealing.I like unruled paper in my journals, so a sketchbook was a perfect choice. The height of the book was a little too tall for my leather cover, so I took them to a FedEx Office store to have an inch taken off them to fit for a very small fee. My journal is supposed to hold A5 notebooks, but it's slightly too small, so finding a new insert was frustrating...but then I found these.The paper quality is very nice. Bright white and smooth to write or draw on. All my gel/ballpoint/Sharpie pens were fine and no bleeding through. However, Sharpie MARKERS and other permanent markers did bleed through, but that wasn't a deal breaker for me. And since there's two books, I got a good amount to write in.HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I like how the spine binding allows the book to lay open flat. I don’t like how spiral bound sketchbooks look, but they were the only kind that lay flat before I found this sketchbook. The paper is cheap, so it’s good for doodles and notes, but not great for watercolor. I do paint with watercolor on it though and it doesn’t bleed through badly. Sharpies bleed through a little, but not usually onto the next page. The cheap paper actually is good because I don’t get stressed about creating great art on each page. I will order again when I fill the two I already have.

The books are great if they won't be thrown around in a bag too much or out in the weather. The pictures show how the binding wore down some after I'd removed the outside cover and then the thickness of the front and back covers of the book.The paper is fine enough (maybe a little thin), and the binding is great for the lay flat feature, but the cover is practically as good as cardstock paper. The outside paper cover with the words "sketchbook" can be taken off (it's not in the picture), so I did and repainted that since I felt the words looked a bit tacky.Pretty solid overall for a good cheap portable book, especially for pen or pencil sketches, although heavier media will definitely show through.

Perfect for my artistic needs. Adequate size and number of pages. Price is pretty good too. Will buy more in the future.

IM just now returning to this sketchbook after ordering and customizing it about a year ago and I'm presently surprized with the overall durability of it. I bought this sketchbook for the sole reason of being able to paint on the cover with my posca pen's and its thick look and it served excellent in both of those regards. The paper lays fairly flat due to the binding and while you can expect some damage from folding or water as it is a kraft material, I have worked around it by securing it, and my painting with a layer of a laminating sheet.

These are nice and chunky but the covers came off in the first hour. I will glue it back on or may collage it first then attach it. Otherwise they will be good for my grandkids to draw in.

These are big fat sketchbooks. They are so reasonably priced that you never have to worry about ruining a piece of the paper. these are idea books, designed to just sketch away at will with out worrying that every page needs to be a finished work of are AND THEM COME IN A PACK OF TWO!!! The paper is fine, holds up to lite water, or any dry medium...will be buying these again, and again!!!
