Easy Fill, Easy Pour
Good can for my diesel tractor. It's easy to fill and easy to use. Use your head and don't knock the pour spout off. If you pay attention, you won't have any trouble at all with it. Like anything, if you abuse it, that's on you, not this can!

Absolutely the best fuel cans I've ever used.
I've been pretty irritated at all the other post 2009 EPA "no-spill" safety cans I've tried. Most of those are terribly slow and leak badly thus spilling more than my old cans that had the air release plug on them. Plus I always had to fight with whatever child safety lock was haphazardly added to the spout by some demonic gas can safety engineer. With this fuel can I'm able to just rest the can on the hood of my tractor instead of having to hold it above the hood the whole time. That's a big deal now that I'm getting older and don't like holding 40 lbs at shoulder height for a long time. With the spout sticking down in the fuel cap opening I just push down the button and the fuel actually comes out quickly. They claim to have the fastest flow in the industry with up to 3 gallons per minute. As if that wasn't all reason enough it even has an Autostop feature. When the fuel in your tank reaches the bottom of the fill spout it automatically shuts off flow from the fuel can. Watch the video on how it works. You can also buy a transportation cap for the cans. They used to have one that said it was a DOT approved transportation cap but it doesn't seem like it's available anymore which is bad news for someone wanting to use the cans commercially.

Works well short spout but an extension is available.
This jug is about the best that you can find as to being reliable and working over a few month of use. I still miss the old time jugs.

Fancy Diesel fuel can
This is a fancy diesel fuel can, and you certainly pay extra for it. It has a filter in the neck of the can that filters diesel that is going into the can as your filling it, but its not exactly easily removable, so if it did manage to catch something, you will end up pouring it right into your target tank as its now on the wrong side of the filter for pouring. While trying to use the diesel pump on the car side of the gas station (Not the high flow models on the semi side), the filter makes it harder to fill as the diesel tends to foam up as you are trying to fill, so you will need to definitely go slow to fill it. The included fancy spout does work well, you will have to hold it the can with one hand (37 pounds of diesel) to activate the valve with the other. The spout is short and works for something where you can hold the can over the opening like filling up my diesel heater, but I think it would be too short for filling up most automotive style fuel tanks, they do sell an extension for probably just that reason, but I haven't used it so cant comment on that.

Perfect for those clandestine fill ups
My marina doesn't like it when you fill up with cans in your slip. So I slink down below in my sailboat when it's time to add some diesel into the 40-gallon tank, away from prying eyes. It's more of a pain than filling up top, requires some cushions to be moved, the tank lid to be removed, and the angle for pouring can be a little weird. However, with these perfect cans, it doesn't matter. I can contort myself every which way with the can and it won't leak or dispense a drop until I'm ready to push the button. Works brilliantly. They're easy enough to lash down up top too when we go cruising. The lid can be fussy if you don't line the teeth up correctly when twisting it back on, but that's a very minor niggle. Highly recommended.

The fill opening is large enough for the tubular 12 volt pumps!
I bought a tubular 12 volt diesel fuel pump to fill my John Deere Tractor. It is very awkward to lift 5 gallons of diesel fuel up to the height of the tractor filler cap, not to mention it is also dangerous to try and pour the fuel into a funnel so as not to spill or overflow the funnel, and balance your self on the top of the front tire and the other on a step ladder wrung and hold onto a five gallon container to boot! The 12 volt pump seemed to be the answer, because they use a flexible clear plastic hose of a sizable diameter and can empty a 5 gallon container in less than 1 minute or so. No lifting, no ladders, no funnels and no balancing act. BUT, I discovered I did not have a single diesel fuel container with a filler hole wide enough to drop the pump into the container. I must have 4 or 5 fuel containers, and the pump would not fit into any of them. I searched every store that sold fuel containers, and none of them could take the tubular pump. BUT, this no spill contained has a very wide fill opening, and the pump easily went right inside...no problem! I do not use the cap filler device except to seal the container. I am no longer doing a high wire balancing act to fill my tall tractor! Also, this container is very well made and flimsy at all, and it appears to be very rugged.

Big Mouth!
I already owned a can for diesel fuel, but I purchased an electric pump to use with it and the filter was just a little too big to fit.So, I searched until I found this Stens No-Spill 1457 Diesel Fuel Can that had a wider mouth, which is what needed. I use it to pump diesel fuel into my tractor. I'm too old to lift five gallons of fuel to shoulder height. My review of the pump is available when you follow this link https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HOXQ5E0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Back to the can! It's sturdy, well made, and can be mounted on a shelf for easy pouring through the nozzle that comes with it. Whether you mount it or use it on the ground with a pump, it's a really well made fuel can.

Best diesel fuel container yet.
This is a good fuel container and the spout did not leak. I also use the battery powered fuel pump with it , in place of the manual pour spout to fill my tractor & it works well together.
