Not just a good read but a much needed counseling session
The book gives insight into a spiritual and emotional ailment that plague so many of us in society and church today. It also provides guidance and steps to take to get us on the pathway to our healing. Very important tool.

Really good information and help in this book.
This book has really helped me understand the fathers love and how my mindset shapes how I view my relationships. Mark really knows how to teach and help us to get better through the mindset of Gods love. Highly recommend his books and his you tube channel.

Worth the read once.
Helpful stuff here and there but ultimately not exactly what I was looking for. I would say it's worth the read and I might periodically reference it in the future but I doubt I'll reread it. There are definitely some good "one off" tips, solid ideas and helpful advice that I underlined. One of the pet peeves I had with this book is (and I went back to see) I don't recall him ever defining what a rejection mindset exactly is. And I think to write a book about it would constitute having a working, helpful definition of the topic. I recall him talking about what a rejection mindset is "like" and what it looks like but he never actually describes what it "is". The best definition I could come up with from reading the book is that it's simply believing falsehoods or lies about one's self. Again, perhaps worth reading once and I love Mark Dejesus. He's a great brother in the Lord and his youtube channel has helped me greatly. Great brother. But with that being said, I don't know if I'll buy another one of his books.

Exceptional Self-Help Book
This book helped me to understand the symptoms of my experience of rejection sensitivity in a Christian context. I am working through it again as I've matured since I acquired it several years back. I really appreciate the author's gentle tone and that the book isn't shaming. My inner critic will often read books to me in a condescending voice and I can feel as though the books themselves are condemning me. This book has great interactive questions, bite-sized chapters, relatable examples, and practical action steps. I was allergic to Christianity when I bought this. It's helped me rediscover my faith in a positive way. So many of the ways I viewed people as judgemental and critical of me were rooted in the way I viewed God as judgemental and critical. It's going to take a lot of courage to implement this advice and the author is supportive throughout. This is a top-shelf self-help book on a subject that is becoming more recognized, particularly with the rise of ADHD diagnosis in the pandemic, however, there still are not a lot of resources that help with the most painful part of ADHD, rejection sensitivity. I also like how this book could benefit anyone with or without a diagnosis of any kind.

What I expected….AMAZING!!!!
I’ve been watching Mark Dejesus’ YouTube channel for awhile, and just in a week I’ve noticed a difference in my life by reading this book. Exposing “rejection” the “kings way” IS the WAY!!!!
