Gelly Nails 36W UV Lamp Gel Cured Nail Dryer with Sliding Tray and Manicure Kit

I purchased this as an experiment to see if I could reasonably do my own gel nails at home. The price was less than one visit to the salon - so why not. The verdict - great choice! I really like this nail lamp. Just to be clear, this is an UV lamp. It takes 120 seconds (2 minutes) to cure the nail polish. When I researched UV versus LED lamps, I decided to go with UV because it would cure any nail polish, not just special LED curable ones.The lamp has a setting that will leave it on until you turn it off and a setting for timer that can be used with the 120 seconds switch in the back. This allows you to just hit the switch and it will turn off when your 2 minutes are up. The opening/tray on this is large enough to put my full hand in (including thumbs) and large enough for my husbands significantly larger hands. I can also fit my toes in the opening. The sliding tray is pretty helpful for not bumping your fingers on the top when removing your hands.I used gel polish I got through a groupon deal to try this out and it worked very well. I'm still getting the hang of polishing my nails (please don't judge my pics), but they are nice and hard and set to a hard and beautiful shine. Make sure to follow whatever directions your polish has (including using rubbing alcohol to set the polish). All in all, for less than a manicure costs, I think this baby packs a mean punch!

I was really nervous getting this and seeing how it'd do. There were some iffy reviews, but I decided to give it a go anyways. And... I wasn't disappointed! There's a option to turn it on and only use the timer, which is great! So then when you're ready, you just settle your hand in there (it's very spacious), and hit that button and it turns on for 120 seconds and cures the polish. I do it once for each layer, and it turned out pretty well! The only thing that is a pain about unwrapping it is there are foam pieces on the inside that surround the bulbs. You have to be very careful removing these or else you might damage a bulb. I did not, but I could see it happening.

I have problems with gel nails, and I was having to go get my nails done every eight days, which I could not afford. I wanted gel nails because my own nails are so weak on the ends and constantly breaking. This product works great for me. If a nail breaks, then I just fix that one nail. Most of my nails can then wait at least two weeks for replacement. They look as good as salon nails. Great product.

I love, love, love Gelly Nails! When I've had professional or given myself home manicures in the past, the polish would chip within a few days which often caused my nails to crack and peel. When a friend told me that gell polish would prevent this, I wanted to give it a try.I purchased Gelly Nails just before the new year, and my nails and polish are still in perfect condition! It is light-weight and easily portable, so when my students complimented my manicure, I hosted an after school 'nail club' with some of my my students. Such fun! They love it as well, and are are all now finger-lookin' good ;)The manicure kit included is great as well - I no longer have to search for my nail clippers!!Perfect for yourself and as a gift for friends!

wish it came with a storage box but other than that its perfect. I take it with me to do my friends nails all the time. Small and portable! Only down side is that the cord to plug in is not very long

I WAS BLESSED WITH A COMPLETE "DUD". THE LAMP WOULD NOT WORK FROM THE GET-GO! THE TIMER SWITCH WAS BROKEN, THE LAMPS NEVER WORKED ONCE, SO i RETURNED IT FOR A CREDIT IMMEDIATELY. I DO BELIEVE THAT THE LAMP HAD ALREADY BEEN RETURNED ONCE, THEN RE-BOXED AND SENT TO ME AS A "USED" ITEM. I DO NOT BELIEVE IT WAS A "NEW" LAMP AT ALL. IT WAS A TOTAL "LEMON", AND i WON'T ORDER ANOTHER ONE FROM AMAZON.

Once I figured out how the polish works I realized this lamp is AWESOME! Great value!

i paid for mine. works wonderful..! but after the 2nd time using it one bulb already burnt out But the company gladly replaced the bulb at no cost.. worth the money!
