Works Great for my 70 lb Labrador!
Trust me - I had no idea that buying doggie diapers could turn into such a dilemma. First of all, the products at "Pet Stores" are outrageous overpriced. Second, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, try to save money and go with Depends. Haha! You will get several peculiar looks at Walmart and when you cut a hole for the day, it dumps diaper absorbing crystal sand everywhere. EVERYWHERE. Third, trying to get your dog to wear little girls panties is another bad idea - Haha you need to be able to cinch the waist and Jazzy May was not a fan of Princesses. In all seriousness though, the Vet's Best diapers are a great price and great product. With a labradors slick coat, they sometimes tend to slide off (especially when she gets excited and has some overzealous tail wagging) but I can make them last a whole day (sometimes two) each. To fix the sliding problem, I purchased a cheap pair of washable dog panties and put it over the diaper - Makes her look more presentable and solves the problem.

These work wonderfully for my 14 year old lab sized dog with bladder cancer. I do recommend to anyone who uses these to also use a washable diaper cover over it. It will help keep the diapers from slipping down. Using the diapers has saved furniture and flooring from being ruined by her very frequent urination. I have to change hers often , so I go through quite a few in a day, making me wish they were more affordable . But the fact that my dog can still live out her golden years in relative comfort makes me very happy.

Takes care of our "leaky" greyhound quite well
I have to say, although these are not perfect, they are the best I was able to find for our 13+ year old greyhound. As you know, even female greyhounds are quite large dogs, so incontinence is a big problem if not dealt with. These L/XL diapers fit better than the others we tried. It's true that the tail hole is not surrounded by absorptive material wings, or something like that, so if the diaper is saturated, it will leak on the next urination--- this just means you need to keep up with the dog. It's not painless/lazy like being able to leave a baby in a diaper all day-- but you shouldn't be doing that anyway, right? I also found that this diaper is mostly useless for containing bowel movements (at least on greyhounds) again because of the tail hole having no "seal," but for urine incontinence, it is in fact the best alternative. I had no problem attaching it tightly over our greyhound's hip bones, which helps a lot in retaining the diaper. And, as other reviewers have mentioned, you can certainly do a small mod and add more stopping/absorptive material around the tail if you really need it.I wish someone made a perfect dog diaper, but this one is pretty good.

Grab 2 and you'll make it through a cycle
I have a large standard poodle. She is in her 2nd heat which is heavier then the first one in my experience with this pup. It absorbed very well and has a wetness identification strip. The first one she chewed up when I wasn't looking, but after a little bit she figured out what it was for. Lasted all day as long a you took it off when in a secured dog run for exercise and potty routine. Lasted through the night.

Best fit!!
My elderly dog had some issues with UTIs at the end of her life. She always had a waist that was the same size as her hips and was a nightmare to fit diapers. We tried many local and online types and brands. Eventually we just bought puppy pads and a commercial rug shampooer like you would rent in a grocery store! (Yeah we bought one $500) and hoped for the best!!!These were the only diapers that were long enough to fit her like “mom jeans” which is what she needed to sit and still have enough diapers left to sit on her waist and not pop off or cut off circulation to her legs.I wish we had found these sooner but it certainly made the last months of her life comfortable and outs as well.

Works great!
I bought these for both a large old female dog and the belly band type for a tiny boy that has anxiety urination issues. I have been extremely pleased with both. I did add additional padding (sanitary napkin) at night for large female dog just to be sure. She is a std. poodle and they allow plenty of fabric for excellent fit. Only use the belly band for little boy when I know he is likely to have a problem. Saves lots of clean-up, fit very well, my dogs seem to to be OK wearing. I also bought washable type, but these are great as back-up or when washing is not an option.

Finally a product worth the money
These fit better than the ones in the store at Pet Smart or Pet Co. I have a English Bulldog so with having a short tail it makes it difficult for the tail area to line up. It was an easy fix but on no part of the diaper it was large enough to cover her entire area like it was a real diaper for a baby. It didn't cut off circulation and fit really well around her hips. I will definitely buy these again for her next heat cycle.

A GOD send!!! SNORT!
I have a male French bulldog that will be 12 in May. I DO NOT like the male style diapers. These work great! I have used this product for a year now. *Note: I DO rip an old dish towel in strips and have to tie around his waist or, due to a nubby tail, they slip down. Still, if he rolls around pay heed as you will have to keep yanking them back up. For doggies WITH tails, I don't see that as an issue. Enjoy a peepee free environment! WOOF!

Great for giant schnauzers size dog !!
Can’t thank you enough the company who made these. I have a giant schnauzer and no other dog nappy fits her. I have tried pull up 15 years old human ones with a cut for her tale, as the last thing but of course she got covered after a time with the stuffing from that nappy. This products does what it is needs to. My dog is very gentle and calm, won’t pull it off of herself but when she shakes it does come off.It is a big relief that now I can buy a pack with a tape hole for her knowing she won’t leave mess around herself.

Quite absorbent diaper but pricy
It’s handy to use for my dog during her season. It’s very absorbent diaper and could last for about 8hrs, so she changes 3x a day. I particularly find it helpful to be able to cut it bigger around the tail hole so she can pass her poo easily without taking the diaper off. The only downside is it’s very pricy. It used to be £9 for 12 diapers and the recent one I bought has gone up to £12 (£1 per diaper)!!!

Go up a size...
Can't give honest answer about absorbency as although we measured our dog's waist (21in), and picked the medium size, these were far to small!Like trying to fit a dolls nappy on a 6mth old baby.If the correct size, I'm sure they would be comfy (though I'm not wearing them) as they are light weight, and the thickness just right, not bulky.

good product but be careful on size.
nothing wrong with the product but be careful of what size you buy. I bought xsmall as that seemed right for my dogs measurements. She is a tiny yorkie but they are too small. I have had to buy a different size and get them in small.

Sticky tabs not on each pad
I apologise for writing a negative review without speaking to the seller but I can’t appear to be able to contact the seller direct. I believe I have a faulty pack as 4 pads now have been without sticky tabs or just one, this really isn’t very helpful when your trying to put it on your GSD! I don’t want to return them as we are needing them but I would possibly like another pack sent out??? It makes them quite expensive when your having to secure them with sellotape. Unsure if I’ll get a response....
