Feathers everywhere. Had to bin it in the end as I couldn’t find any solution to the problem.

It's shedding feathers like a duck
This duvet sounded like just what we needed and indeed, fir the first 4 months it was. Lovely and warm on cold nights. Light enough to sleep under on warmer nights and just the right size for the bed (queen size).Now however - since march - it has started shedding feathers. Both my partner and I started to experience scratches and pricking sensations. We thought- well its duck down, what would we expect? But it didn't stop there. Now we're finding feathers filling the duvet cover and working their way into all sorts of nooks and crannies where feathers should never be. The duvet is supposed to be proofed against this kind of migration!The duvet this replaced laster over 20 years and despite much washing it shed hardly any feathers.I cannot recommend this to anyone.

Very warm! Excellent value for money
I brought this for my mum a few weeks ago as the temperature has been dropping.Overall, the quilt is very warm. It got to 1 degree in the house and was still very toasty. The quality is great, however, you don’t really notice when it’s in a cover. It is very heavy and big so, I’d recommend vacuum packing this when you switch it out for a summer tog as it takes up a lot of room.So far, it’s been excellent value for money, very comfortable and warm. Just be aware it’s thick and difficult to store due to this

Itchy
Feathers just wont stop coming out of it making it incredibly itchy. On top of this the whole room is full of the darn feathers after changing the cover. Then the kitchen after washing them. Just not worth the extra work.
