Fire Retardant Spray (Class A for Wood, Thatch and More) Eco-Safe, Non Toxic, ASTM E84, 1 Gallon Jug DRI-ONE

In the midst of a building project we decided not to complete the basement. Based on city regulations we needed to use a fire prevention product on the wood structure in the basement. After reviewing a few products my husband decided on Dri-One was the product we needed. I contacted the company to answer a few questions I ended up speaking with the owner. He answered all my questions and I learned the product is manufactured in the USA which is very important to us. The product arrived and the instructions were very good. Product was very easy to apply. I would suggest anyone using this product where long sleeves and a cap especially when spraying the ceiling as in our case . Excellent product. Would recommend 100%.

Very corrosive to steel, such as nails, brackets, and barn tin. Can eat eyeglass lenses. Applies like soapy water with brush or spray. Changes wood appearance to look slightly damp, however if the wood has free iron in the surface such as left behind by the saw blade at the lumber mill, those small particles will turn green from corrosion.

Great product that is very easy to apply. I had a question about my application and Jim was very quick to get back to me. His answers were very informative and helpful. It's obvious how much he cares about providing a great product and makingsure his customers are satisfied. Will definately purchase this product again.

Applied it easily and not messy

Have a new fence so applied this where it comes in contact with the house. Considering the price I didn't get a lot of coverage -- maybe 60 linear ft on a 6 ft redwood fence. It did not change the color so was able to apply a water-based neutral stain over it.

We used this produce at the Nebraska State fair for decorative straw bales. Product worked as we expected it to and the gentelman we talked to was very knowledgeable about his product. Along with this, we received product promptly. We recommended using this product and plan on using it again.
