This thermometer is a must-have for any household. It gives accurate readings in just 10 seconds, which is perfect for impatient kids or worried parents. It's as basic a thermometer as you can buy, but it works very well. I bought one to see if it was any good. After I got the first one, I ordered two more. The end that you put into your mouth is very soft rubber and it takes a reading in about 15 seconds. The reading agreed with my other thermometers, so it is accurate (as were the other two I ordered afterwards). Super easy to use, a very low price, and a nice little plastic case to put it in. In my opinion, it's a great buy. I will get a couple extra to put in my emergency kits in the car and a couple to put in my travel bags.

This replaced a 40+ year old digital thermometer I bought in the early 80s. The numbers are bigger and easier to read and shows temp in just seconds.

Worked okay for less than 6 months with light use, then the battery died. I replaced the battery (which was cheap, but it's an odd size, so I had to order them) and now it's giving me super low temperatures in seconds instead of waiting the full time. I double checked that I installed the battery correctly and tried to reset it. I don't know if I just got a bad one or what but I definitely ordered a different brand just now as a replacement.Update: The seller reached out, apologized, and refunded me completely. They asked for the model number to address with the factory and check similar ones to avoid the issue, but I had already thrown it away. The time they took reaching out and addressing it makes me think I just got unlucky with the one I received.

This thermometer is not accurate and cannot be trusted to provide a reliable reading when it matters. I think it’s in the ballpark, which is to say that it displays a temperature which is roughly expected for a human. It may work if you’re checking to see whether or not you’re alive, but otherwise I think you’d be better off buying a different product.My body temperature tends to run low. 99 is, for me, like 100 for someone who runs in the 98s. So if I see something 99+ my inclination is to take my temperature a second time to make sure. I took my temp just now and it was 99.3. Then it was 98.9. Then 98.7. Then 98.6. Then 98.7. Then 97.8. All within a span of minutes. I followed the instructions exactly, but still received these results. This was my second time using the thermometer, but the first time I had very similar results, where it started high and slowly lowered with each re-test.Since I still need to check my temperature, I will be ordering something else.

Cheap and accurate. Good to have on ha d especially if you have little ones around.

accurate, battery is good. Doesn't come with probe covers. I used Plastic wrap wich works fine and cleaned with alchohol.
