The thin edge on this sink is the next best thing to a drop in. It practically disappears on the counter top, thus providing a clean look in the kitchen. The adhesive dampeners keep the sink quiet (from vibrations) while the square corners and sharp lines continue to accent the contemporary feel. Beautiful brushed stainless steel finish. You cannot go wrong with this sink.One caveat: If you are mounting to a counter top thicker than 1 1/4" -1 1/2" you may have to engineer some screws to hold the sink in. I had to buy some 3 1/2" SPAX screws, grind the heads down to fit in the slots, cut some off of the tip, and cut a screwdriver slot into the cut off area with a Dremel thin steel cutting wheel. Then the screws are turned counter-clockwise to tighten the clips underneath. I love the look of this sink so much (my second one) that doing this was a non-issue.~~~Update 1/24/13~~~I noticed some have commented that this sink scratches. Yes it does. However, if you want to restore the general look of the brushed finish, I recommend getting some green OR burgundy/maroon Scotch-Brite pads, (Home depot?) and testing out a small area on the sink. Rub it WITH THE GRAIN of the brushed finish. If the green is too fine try the Burgundy color, if that is too fine also you must look for the next color up (industrial supply). Steel wool (very coarse) may also work, but I am not sure. Scotch-Brite will put the finish back though.

This sink looks very pretty, but it scratches so easily I was so disappointed. Also if you're washing dishes and this have food leftover you need to push it manually to the drain due to the "sleek" design 😐 I would not recommend this product to anyone. Unless they just want them for the looks.

This is a very attractive sink but it isn't perfect. First the good...the item arrived quickly and is well packed although one corner seemed to have taken a bit of a hit in shipping...nothing major but just enough that we wondered if it would be a problem. It wasn't but be sure to check the product well upon arrival.The sink basins are nice and deep - the same depth as our prior sink which was showing a bit of wear. The sink comes with one single grate to be placed at the bottom...personally I would prefer two but that is obviously optional. You will need drains for both sides as this is only the sink.The sink is indeed quite attractive. This is a single hole model and it provides a very flush finish. The metal cuold be a bit thicker...18 gauge is a bit on the thinner side as 15 gauge is much more preferred however, 18 is fairly standard for what you would typically encounter in the big box stores.Insulation could also be a bit better - this isn't expecially loud but also not especially quite. Those that have a kitchen which opens to a living area or other will want to plan on adding a bit more insulative value to this product.Last but not least, the sink uses a different installation process as compared to the normal clips etc for most big box sinks. Nothing major but be aware that there is a slight variation. Likewise, we had to retrim the countertop to provide a better fit AND redo the plumbing underneat as the drain holes are offset from our prior sink despite the same depth. Those with a DIY orientation should plan accordingly.All in all a nice sink for the price. I would still purchase again but plan on slightly more time than normally required to switch out a sink.

I just had my new sink installed and it looks great. Not only is it really stylish, it is practical, durable, and roomy. My sister even thought I replaced my countertops, that's how good it looks. The brushed stainless along with the zero radius gives the sink a modern flare. Highly recommeded, great buy for the price and as always Amazon was a wonderful resource with excellent customer service.

The sink was beautiful, but sadly the first one came damaged, we exchanged it and the second one came damaged. I didn't order a third. One other strange thing it only has one rack that fits in the bottom of the bowl and there are two bowls to this sink.

Great looking product, quick service, installed by my plumber and there was a leak at one of the welds. I used a product called capital JB Weld which fixed the leak hopefully it'll last. Contacted Kohler and they said they would give me some sort of credit back... working out those details now but we'll see. If this came in and installed without the leak I would've given it a 5* it's a great looking product installed and seems to be of high quality. Others mentioned a high noise volume I am not experiencing that.

Nice sink but attachment chanel - poor spot weld. Had to install anyway as we had kitchen all apart. Need better quality control

I'm really happy with my purchase, I had concerns about what would be a good gauge(thickness) of the material, but I trusted the Kohler name as my last ceramic sink was Kohler. It has a quality feel and sound to it, some Stainless steel sinks I've seen in homes feel and sound like cheap tin, not so with this one.
