I use this tester regularly to check the function and strength of my electric fence around a fish pond. the device is very easy to use and will show a weakening of the electric impulse caused by weed or other growth touching and shortening the wire to ground. regular testing the signal gives me the confidence that there will not be any raccoons visiting and eating my fish in the pond. great device, easy to use, easy to read the display screen.

I love this particular tester. I put up the livestock vinyl fence up. To protect the investment I did a couple strands of electric.(solar) this fence tester works exceptional in the bright sun your able to see it clearly. I can't say enough about it. Also comes in a cute lil bag to keep safe.

Continues to function after being submerged in water for several weeks.

Good tester, easy to read, no more trying to see which lights are lit. Needs a battery

I had one of the red testers with the line of lights and it was impossible to see the lights on a sunny day. This is not only easy to see the readings but I can see if I have a weed load costing me electricity.

Used to check portable electric tape fencing that we move to different areas for short term grazing. It is so much better that a previous type used that was hard to see in daylight and registered on a meter when it worked. This one does take a battery, but it shows the actual voltage in large numbers on a screen. Love it and so glad I purchased.

put a new 9volt battery in and it still doesn't work need to send it back
