Straight cuts
This thing is a beast. Its a very robust piece of equipment and works as advertised. Easy to use and makes cutting a breeze. Doesnt add too much weight to the saw when using.

Worked pretty well 👍🏻
Maybe a little overpriced, but it worked pretty well with my Ridgid cordless 7 1/4 saw to trim a door. You have to put pressure on the guide handle to keep it straight and the hardest parts were starting and finishing the cuts because the guide doesn’t touch.

Never took it off
I frequently need to rip sheets. A lot of the time, the cut doesn't need to be perfect. But when it does, you need a table saw. Not any more. Of course it has it's limits, but I was able to very consistently rip 4 1/4 base to my needed size. Ripping larger items is much easier. I was the first of my friends to get one. If you're thinking about it. Stop. Just buy it. You'll probably be like me and never take it off.

Doesn't fit dewalt
Pretty ridiculous. Got it all set up on my saw. Everything looks great. Then I go to put. Battery on my saw. It won't go. The damn skid plate is in the way. So it is totally unusable. I didn't try to use it till I had it for a few weeks. Went to return and my return window was closed. So it was a TOTAL waste of money.

Disappointed
It says it can rip up to 24 inches. I tried ripping a piece of wood at 17 inches and it was not long enough.

Check for your saw on their website
My saw is an older model Craftsman. The plate is small. I had to fiddle with the sidewinder to get my saw to be tight in it. The provided holddowns wouldn’t work. Afterward, though it worked great. Glides along the workpiece with very little effort. Great addition to my tools.
