Kai Stainless Steel Kitchen Knife Set, 2 Pieces, Blue

Have been using Kai knives for a while. they are the best ones I have used so far..

The knife was extremely sharp when I bought it. I would not even realize when the knife touched my fingers and gave a cut. Other family members using the knife also ended up cutting their fingers in the first week.I was almost going to buy finger protectors for us.But after using it for two months it became like any other regular knife we have used in the past. Now it is not very sharp, but it does the job, like any regular kitchen knife, but not like a sophisticated knife.The knife is sturdy, the grip is good, only thing is, at this price I was expecting the sharpness to last longer.

Awesome. Go for it. Cutting of the veggies is like writing with pen. But be careful while using. Safety first but quality must.

Either it is carelessness or the integrity of the seller is in question in this purchase. The knives purchased are smaller in length than what is mentioned in the listing question and answers. Intentionally misrepresenting an item is inexcusable Amazon's reputation and the reputation of a impeccable manufacturer gets tarnished. Five stars have been given for the quality of the product even though it is not what I ordered, the header of all the knives in this category do not mention "short" "medium" or "long" the packaging of the knives clearly mention "short" disappointing purchase.

The knife is very sharp and fairly sturdy. The only reason for not giving a 5 star rating is due to the fact that the blade back side isn't polished and it leaves a very sharp edge and a mere touch on the non-cutting side of the blade caused bleeding. If this minor issues is addressed, it's a great product at very reasonable price. The sharpness is intact for over a week now and I hope it lasts much longer.
