Unfortunately, most products now a days cut corners in the name of the simplistic and materialistic goals of profits only. This is not the case. Very good quality for what you pay for. Looks, good, feels sturdy, easy to use. I really like it.

This fan is built to last and is absolutely worth the price. The various power settings ensure a steady airflow, keeping you cool even on the hottest days. Highly recommended!

First off, I really liked this fan. It moved a lot of air and helped keep my shop tolerable. Unfortunately, it stopped working after 11 months. Now, any product can have a bad individual item, and yes I am very likely to get the one that is not up to par. I have no problems with that. And, I would not have written a bad review had I received proper support. The fan has a 5 year warranty, so it is well within the time frame. The problem I have is lack of service. Trying to find help on Amazon's site is virtually impossible. I finally worked my way to a distributor that ships for Amazon. Guess what.... I was directed back to Amazon, which we all know is a waste of time. Then I get an email from Amazon wanting to know if I received satisfactory resolution. There were a few questions, that was it. No place to give an explanation. So I did what a reasonable person would do, I replied to the email. Well, that was like farting into the wind. Next email says it is not a receive email page, and directed me back to...., you guessed it, the Amazon website. And, when you click on the options, you get sent to the regular sales pages. I am so frustrated it is beyond belief. Man I wish there was an option for another company that offered virtually any item you could ever need, that competed evenly with Amazon.

The media could not be loaded. Needed something to move air in the garage during the summer... this does the trick. The wheels have ball bearings for easy rolling and the fan tilts to direct air flow. The metal is sturdy to protect the blades and keeps fingers safe. The speed adjustment is simple and goes from low to high with a turn of the knob located on the back. The only draw back is the noise. I have to really turn the stereo up when running at higher rpm's. The chord is long and does not get in the way when moving the fan.Overall very satisfied with the quality and performance. Looking forward to years of cool air. The Dewalt yellow looks good as well.

I was shopping for a large diameter belt driven fan but the prices were a deal buster. Then I found the Dewalt fan. I love this fan. It is solidly built, easy to assemble the wheels and feet, and the best thing is the variable speed control and portability. The fan is whisper quiet on the low settings and moves quite a bit of air on the higher end. It is a 24" fan so don't expect it to ventilate a large gymnasium but it will do very nicely in a shop or other smaller environment. I consider myself a "quality" shopper and don't mind investing in such. I believe this fan is a quality buy and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fan of this size.

This fan is moves an absolutely impressive amount of air for its size. Thing is, it doesn't like to point up because the drum collides with the frame.It also arrived bent and I had to disassemble the fan and hammer out the dent in the drum as well as hammer out the dent and bend in the frame. This isn't DeWalt's fault. It got damaged either in shipping or in storage at Amazon. I don't have a way of returning it since all I have are motorcycles and can't really bring something this size on my bike to a shipping center, hence the DIY repair on the brand new fan.Still, it's not entirely silent. The fan makes a 60 hz hum any time it's on. It's not actually the blades making the hum, it's the power supply circuitry.

I was very impressed with this fan. I do a lot of woodworking in my shop year round. It does the job effortlessly and I was shocked at how quiet it was on low. Virtually no noise at all but it really moved the air. I thought I was going to have to buy several to keep it cooler in the summer but I was wrong. I would recommend this fan to everyone for power durability and volume of air it moves with very little noise.

This fan is lightweight and very strong moves tons of air. Very happy
