Pros:- great battery life, I went from needing a charge every 12 hours to now I'm at 48 hours and still over 50%.- good tools: the screwdrivers that came with the set worked well, the tool to remove the battery worked well.- took me only about 5 minutes to install when following instructions from YouTube.Cons:- the tool included to remove the back of the watch was pretty much useless. A utility razor though did the job easily.- might not be such an easy job if you're not handy with electronics.Overall I'm very happy with this kit! I've been using the new battery for over a week now and can easily go 3 or 4 days without charging.

Excellent product, tools being included was icing on the cake !! This battery brought my Samsung Galaxy S3 watch back from the dead ! My OEM battery would die in less than 6 hours from a full charge. This new battery has a larger capacity, and it fits perfectly....now it is rare for the watch to be below 60% by the end of the day !! If you can watch a short video showing you how to do this, you will be fine !

This battery and tool kit arrived and I quickly set about swapping out my old battery. As others have said you need a sharp thin metal edge tool to pry the back off after removing the screws. I had a tool like that and carefully removed the back. Even if you are careful there is no guarantee that when reinstalled it will retain its water resistance so be forewarned. Why the original battery has adhesive on it is beyond me but I pried it lose from the motherboard. As others may have reported in their reviews the connection part of the new battery ribbon cable is hard to fit into it's spot. There is a small hole in the cable that is supposed to fit over a pin in the motherboard and I had to use one of the plastic tools to force the cable onto the pin. But once I got the motherboard screwed back into it's position I checked the power and the battery was connected fine.After 2 weeks I am getting about 2 days of power depending on how much I use the watch. I tend to not use a lot of battery intensive features though. I gave the review 4 stars based on the ribbon cable not fitting so easily as I would have liked.

******** UPDATE *******Amazon sent me a replacement battery. I installed it. This battery only lasts till about 2 PM after putting on at 6:30AM. This is the same as the original S3 battery it replaced that has been in the watch since it was new in 2017. A new battery that is almost twice the size of original that only lasts the same as an 7 year old battery halve it's capacity can only mean they are junk. STAY AWAY!!! Safe your money and go with a different company and product. This is the worst product I received from Amazon. Looks like I have to buy a different battery and then send this one back.*** Original Review ***** Not sure if this is just a bad battery or just the normal for these batteries. It doesn't even last a day. I take it off the charger at about 6AM and by 3 pm it is in the red. That is just normal use of the day, not even touching the watch that often. This battery is bigger than the oem battery and only lasts the same amount of time as the old original battery that came in the watch. Looks like I have to return it and get a real battery.

Purchased as a replacement battery for an S3 frontier that was a gift. Replacement was easy and tools were surprisingly high quality, but the performance is fantastic. Gift receiver went from barely half an hour of battery life to around 4 days. Even new, the GS3F only has about a day of battery. Great product!

I received this today for my Frontier 3 Galaxy Watch. Read this and them make your decision to buy or not.1) You must be handy. Not a DIY for the novice user of tools.2) Tools in the kit are USELESS! No wonder people complain about stripping screw heads.3) You need tweezers, a better assortment of micro screwdrivers, razor knife (box cutter), sharp paring knife.Remove Band. Use a philips head screwdriver larger than the one in the kit. Make sure it is snug in the watchback screwheads before turning. This is where everyone gets into trouble. Make sure the grip is good before turning the screw.Use the razor knife to pry the back off the watch. The useless plastic gizmos in the kit are just that... remove the 2 circuit board screws, unsnap the 3 ribbon cables and pry the circuit board up enough to use the tweezers to remove the ribbon cable from the battery off of the watch body. Be careful as there is another ribbon cable that cannot be removed but will bend over to expose the bottom of the battery/circuit board. Use paring knife to cut the adhesive away between the circuit board and the battery. New battery does not come with adhesive but not really needed.Install new battery, reverse all above and you are good to go. I put the watch on the charger after putting the back, back on to see if it is charging. Mine was at 52%, meaning the battery was recognized. Lastly, install watchback screws, tighten, put band back on, and you are done.This seller should cut and paste this in their description as instructions are not part of the kit. LOL.. Thank God for Youtube!!!!

My Gear S3 frontier I've had since it released back in 2016 which used to last 2 days, In 2020 it wouldn't last even 5 hours. I was faced with getting a new watch to replace my Gear S3, until I was looking it up and found some videos on how to install a new battery which brought me to buying this battery which has given new life to my Gear S3 frontier. The install was easy and the tools that was given when it came was very useful and something you can reuse. The battery life in my watch now last longer then when I bought it, which is about 3 days if you just use it casual, but on heavy use it will last 2 days and couple more hours into the 3rd day. I have had no issue today with this battery and It is great! Thank-you for saving me some money and bringing my watch back to the way it was as it was new again.
