these really need a dip or something to enhance the flavor
These have a satisfying crunch and a little bit of heat that stays with you (although they don't seem to cause garlic breath, which is great). They're a little bland and could probably do with some added salt (or they would be great with a dip). The chili flavor is subtle but present. They don't leave any oil or residue on the hands.I think it's a bit odd that the can is as large as a tennis ball can (or nearly so), but the crisps are smaller in diameter. This meant that a lot of mine arrived broken, so these may not hold up in the mail really well. They weren't totally dust, so I was still able to enjoy them. Here are the ingredients: lentil flour, rice flour, non-hydrogenated vegetable palmolein oil, green chili, garlic, salt, baking soda. This is a nice and simple list without a lot of added junk.I checked the Nutrition Facts panel and, surprisingly, these have 180 mg of sodium in one serving (you can't really taste it, which is too bad). They have 2g of fiber and 5g of protein, and 5g of fat. One serving is 120 calories. (A serving is 28 grams; I use a kitchen scale to weight them out so I don't get greedy.)If I bought these in the future, I'd probably eat them with some hummus or another dip, just to add a bit of flavor.

Not at all delicious.
I should probably give these 1 star, but since they are edible and I am going to finish them in all fairness they deserve a 2, but I do not at all recommend them.In their drive to lower calorie count and seem healthy they have forgotten that the compounds that give us flavor are fat soluble. It has just 5 grams of fat for the "severing size" of 19 crisps (the recommended size is 6). And they are so exceptionally dry and bland that I'm surprised it's that much. And these are dry in the worst way possible, they're not crispy and light, they've got crunch, but it gives a very bad drying mouth feel that makes you think you can choke on them, and the aftertaste doesn't help matters. There is a slight heat from the chili, but I can't really taste the garlic. They're overall pretty unpleasant. I was only able to tolerate my first serving because I had it with a sandwich and a drink, and the second serving because I ate it with generous amounts of cucumber yogurt sauce.

Excessively Dry, No Flavor
These lentil crisps are dry to the point of being a choking hazard. Plus there is no discernible flavor. A prime example of the low fat mania gone too far.
