This is an excellent carpet cleaner!!!I got this for my classroom because we have two rugs that total about 10‘ x 20‘. The kids were tracking in dirt from the yard. Plus we had pencil shavings, tiny pieces of paper, etc.I was getting totally disgusted by all the junk on the carpets, but I did not want to ask the custodians to vacuum them because I know they are already overworked and understaffed as it is.They don’t need to be told to lug the darn vacuum around now, too! And if you have ever worked at a school, you know the vacuums we have are similar in weight to the ones from the 1950s. Seriously, they are that heavy!! No way am I going to ask the custodians to lug that thing around even once a week to vacuum my carpets when the vast majority of our floors are hard surfaces.I used to be a waitress, so this item came to my mind when I sat and thought about it for a little bit. I did not even know they even made these things anymore!Teachers, this little guy is fantastic! The kids actually enjoy using it. They love to help out by using this little device.I even enjoy using it, LOL, and I hate to clean! I guess there’s something really satisfying about getting the carpet clean…? I’m actually laughing at myself, here! 😂😂😂😂😂😂It has two large compartments on the underside which are very easy to open once you get the hang of it. The only thing is that you will definitely want to wash your hands after emptying it and put on gloves before you start because that is where all the dust and debris comes out.The other thing that you could consider a con is that you will have to get your scissors out every few months or so to cut off hair, string, and whatever else accumulates on the rollers. Butif you put on gloves before doing this, it’s not really an issue.We've had this for about 1-2 months, and I really love it since we can use it any time without disturbing other classes, the kids like to use it, it really works (including on hard surfaces!), Anna's it's easy to empty!!I'm hoping my students don’t break this, but if they ever do, I will get another one right away!!I'll try to upload a video soon.

I didn’t know that I was this disgusting! I’ve had this rug for 4 years. Then I had to put it in storage for about 9 months. When I got my new apartment, I knew I immediately wanted to clean it. It didn’t have any stains, but I knew I needed something to vacuum it. However, I didn’t want to purchase a vacuum for the one rug in my apartment. I purchased this and it came very fast in the mail. After one full pass along the carpet, I was totally grossed out with all the hair that I found. When I vacuumed my rug at my old apartment, I thought that it was pretty clean. FALSE!!! It was not clean!!! This thing took out all the hair and all the dust from the past five years! I’m so disgusted with myself. I use the attachment piece to clean out the bristles and cleaned out so much hair. Then I cleaned out the two traps and was disgusted with all the dirt I found. After another pass, I noticed that the amount of dirt and dust was smaller. This is really worth the investment if you wanna have something for a small space and guaranteed clean fabrics.

The good news is that it's affordable at $23 (at the time of writing this review). The bad news is that it's $23 and maybe isn't as effective as something that costs even a little more. This is the first sweeper I've ever purchased so I didn't know what to expect. I thought I'd give this a try for a situation where I didn't have to keep moving around the power cord of a vacuum, and l thought try this because it's lighter weight than a vacuum. The carpet I used this on had a very low nap, but I found myself having to go over some areas over and over again, and even then, it wouldn't pick up some items. Because of how much time and energy I spent going over and over the carpet, I feel like it would've been quicker and easier to just vacuum. Pushing this back and forth was a little louder than I expected it would be. It was easy to put together and I like that it's lightweight... I just wish it would've picked more things up.

This little sweeper is amazing! 3 cats and low pile carpet - the first time I used it I could not believe how much it picked up- like I honestly thought maybe it was used but no- it got so much fluff and hair and dirt- and I vacuum constantly. I have 2 runners that are so low pile I can’t use the vacuum on and this is perfect. The handle is somewhat delicate so yes- you can’t lean on it or I’m sure it might break but I love that I can sweep up the carpets quickly with no noise or having to move the plug for each room.I clean it out after each use and as other reviewers said it doesn’t dump out easily so you have to use your hand but the cleaning brush that attaches to the handle is great. Love it!

I have a new cat who is terrified of the vacuum and I don't want her to have to tolerate fear just yet while she gets to know us. However, she tracks cat litter EVERYWHERE. I got tired of it being everywhere and sticking to my feet and thought there must be a quiet way to get the carpet clean. Behold...this thing. I love the color which makes it just a joy to use. It took me one minute to assemble. And the whole point of this ..my cat does not fear it. She actually follows me around watching me use it. My carpet is clean, Kitty feels safe, and I am happy. If I could give it ten Stars, I would.

This sweeper is fine. It serves its purpose but isn't amazing.I bought this to use on a thin, washable rug that the vacuum is too strong for. You have to make multiple passes over the rug to pick up debris, and sometimes I have to pick things up by hand because the sweeper just won't pick them up no matter how many times I go over them. Its better than nothing but not great.
