Decent Quality
I used these cables to upgrade the satellite speakers on my Logitech Z2300 2.1 computer speakers. The power output from the amplifier on the subwoofer used RCA, so I could not simply attach speaker wire to the amp. I spliced these adapters in, and they work great! The construction is pretty good, but I wouldn't tug or pull too hard on the wire going in to the RCA plug.

Great option for mod and replace factory speakers for better ones
HelloAfter looking a lot in the web, I find this product to be the best option I can find for persons like me, without solder skills or a solder near at hand. After contacting the seller, he kindly clarify me that: the copper wire is positive or signal, the silver wire is minus or ground (RELEVANT INFORMATION). Hope this can help everyone...I used this cables to mod a Logitech z2300 satellite speakers, for an Infinity RS1(Bookshelf) speakers. To connect the wires and keep them together I use a heat-shrink tube.Pros: cheap, easy to install, no special skills required, good quality cable, the connectors are good quality made in Taiwan, not the cheap ones made in China.I recommend this product to everyone.UPDATE: I have been used the product in my setup, and it work great.Thank you for reading, have a great day...

Works as-advertised
I simply bought this so I didn't have to worry too much about my more cumbersome RCA to stereo jack adapter to bare wire hackjob. Honestly it works well, but certainly nothing extraordinary, not anything that justified an 11-dollar price tag in total. But for that money you get a professionally-fabricated RCA cable with soldered bare wire ends. The only thing really missing from this is a strain relief on the RCA end, and the bare wire end was a little too long for preference. For anyone using banana plugs or Y terminals, the solder either needs to be removed or the wire itself needs to lose an inch, so for anyone using either of those there's a mild inconvenience. But it can still be made to work. For anyone looking to do this themselves, if you have some extra-thick RCA cable laying around you can just as easily sever one side, strip down a fair bit of it and use the hot lines for, well obviously hot and the surrounding metal around the hot line for ground. Using electrical tape, and banana plugs if your setup allows that can make things a little less hazardous. But for someone who doesn't deal with audio for a living and/or isn't willing to haphazardly ruin already-good equipment without knowing what they are doing, this works.Overall, feels cheap, looks cheap, should be cheap but does the job.

worked at first...
I used these to run pre-amp wiring to my car's amplifier from an aftermarket HU. They worked great until the weather got cold. When it is cold out, I noticed that my left front speaker would cut in and out. Then when the car warmed up, the speaker would cut back on. Not sure what it was, I took the HU out of the console with the HU still turned on, and then I tugged at each of the wires. The culprit was one of these "RCA to bare wire" wires at the RCA-connector end of the wire. I removed the RCA and crimped the outer metal piece a little bit so that it fit more snug with the RCA plug coming from the HU. That fix worked for about a month, and then the same speaker started cutting out again. I bought the Rockford Fosgate version of these wires on Amazon, installed them and haven't had a problem since. For that reason, I cannot recommend these cheapies. The worst thing is that they will work for a while and then cut out on you. Then you have disassemble everything and re-do it. Pay a little more and get the RF's.

Exactly as ecpected
I used these RCA to speaker wire rigs to adapt a set of small bookshelf speakers to "plug N play" at my PC repair station. I was using headphones until I saw these baby's on Amazon. Now I just plug into the PC I'm fixing and no more sitting at my work bench with crappy headphones. The quality of these it top notch even the wire ends are bound with solder. If you know what you are doing then you know what these adaptors are used for. If you don't know what your doing then don't say "they don't work" it makes you look stupid.

Easy way to adapt from speaker wire to an RCA jack fitting
I have an old DVD player that I wanted to hook up to an even older surround sound.Problem: Surround sound only accepts speaker wire .... DVD player has RCA out jacks.Didn't know what to do till I searched Amazon and found this item.It does just what I needed and appears to be sturdy well made. Raw wire clips into the surround sound and the RCA plugs into the DVD player. This is the 1 foot version, seller also has 6 foot available for a slightly higher price point.
