Product was as described; but was mislabeled (re "plastic wrap" and battery info) such that initially I thought it had been returned. On further reflection, it appeared that the wrong labels were affixed to this product. It is a beautiful and charming addition to our holiday decor.

Please, don't waste your money on this item. I knew when I picked up the box that something was wrong. It was very light weight. Inside I found what appeared to be a very cheap attempt to look like a Kincade. Most noticeable was the lighting of the houses which was barely detectable. Light is suppose to be the hallmark of Kincade works. Everything about the finish was dime store quality. They fail to point out that the houses are just on one side, the back is plain. I expected to make this a center piece of my Christmas decorations, but instead I will stick it in some corner as an afterthought. The only reason I'm keeping it is that I don't want to waste another second of my time dealing with what is clearly a rip off. They probably count on that, but I'm DONE. Lesson learned.

Received this item Nov 2012. They don't ship in a box, just styrofoan cover. No instructions and no cord. It operates on batteries or a power cord, but power cord is not included.The item is cute, but shipping with no box, no instructions, and no cord, are a real negative.

You know, it is beautiful and one of a kind, but I feel like for the price that the AC adapter should have been included with this item.

I wanted this for my Holiday Party. It took many back and forth e-mails hounding them to mail it and it eventually arrived ON the day.I tried batteries and bought a power cord for it but it DID NOT play any music and the star DID NOT light up!I called, waited for 43mins to speak to someone and was told it was a quality control issue and to send it back to be replaced. REPLACED??? I needed it that night! Needless to say, I asked for a refund and DID NOT have a tree at my party!Bad Product, Bad Service and for $148 you'd think they would include a power cord!I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THE BRADFORD EXCHANGE AGAIN AND MOST CERTAINLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!!!

We purchased this tabletop tree to use during the holidays and it worked out of the box. But one day it just stopped working. We had our Christmas display on a timer so it would go on at a preset time. One day the lights just did not go on. So we disconnected the AC adapter and purchased and installed the 3 batteries and still no lights. We received a defective tree and no matter how many emails we send to the Bradford Exchange they have NOT returned our emails. We are very careful with merchandise that is crafted in a beautiful fashion such as this tree but it appears the electronics of the item are faulty. It would be ethical to offer us a refund/return so we can purchase a new one as we are fans of Thomas Kincade but still no response from the Bradford exchange. This item was purchased at a Bradford Exchange mall store that was advertising these items. But since the store is seasonal we could only contact their online customer support which we have not received any support from them on this product. Shame on them!Two stars for craftsmanship - zero stars for customer support.
