Great product
I purchased this product to help with missing bass with the music I was streaming to my truck. I recently installed a loc , amp, and subwoofers for some extra bass, but the bass was missing and I thought this item would help. Ultimately this item restored bass to songs that are missing but for rap and hip hop it kinda distorts it. My issue came out to be the loc I installed so I bought a blanpunkt loc and it changed everything. The bass was now present in every song I played, I even I turn to the gain all the way down on the amp I’m using. Blanpunkt makes excellent products for less.

Compliments your stereo equipment.
This product for the price is exceptional. Nice music reproductionand complimenting my cars stereo equipment. A must buy if you want correct bass reproduction at a bargain. I have an aftermarket android radio and this just levels the playing field. Android radios aren't the best for music reproduction. But adding this really helps it out drastically. Now I have a bunch of features that you can't get for a car stereo in the big names unless you pay a 1000 or more for them.with this you get to have more control of your bass notes and it really brings out the power of the bass for great rock and even classical music honestly all genres of music benefit from this device.

Money well spent if you are a bass head!
Why did I not purchase of of these sooner! This really brough some life into so many songs I would skip because the bass was lacking. It's hard to believe what a difference it makes.I don't have the Epicenter to compare the Blaupunkt to but the bang you get for your buck is astronomical!Very easy to install if you have an existing amplifier. It does have a pretty bright blue pulsing light that I will eventually get rid of or cover up but otherwise the EP1600x has been one of the best additions to my car audio system I have ever made.

Sounded great until it didn't
For the most part I was happy with the product sounded really good, BUT after a week the knob started to have a dead spot where it wouldn't do anything and then after another week the whole unit stoped working. Didn't add a fuse inline so that could have saved it.
