You get a piece of fibreglass, approx 6 inches by 2 inches, and some "2 pack" resin that you mix internally in its packaging. Plus some coarse sandpaper, a small brush and a piece of wax to bung the hole if necessary. The key to it seems to be warming up the resin in its packaging using warm water, before you "merge" the contents. This gets rid of some lumps in it. Then work quickly, resin around the hole / porous bit, fibreglass on top and then more resin on top. The stuff, in summer, would go off very quickly but I got a bit more time as the temperature was only a few degrees. I then left the repair for a week before coating it with a further layer of JB weld. So far, so good...fingers crossed! Tank half full and all fine after another week!

Follow the instructions! When it says this stuff gets hot. It means surface of the sun. Burn off your fingerprints hot. The stuff turns to lava and sets instantly. Get most of the hard lumps from the powder side of the resin under a minute and get to work. You do not have more then 2 minutes before this stuff self combusts like phosphorus. I lost 3/4 of a packet by being to delicate with it. By the time it’s warm in your fingers the games lost. You won’t apply it in time. As soon as it goes hot it’s rubbery. Good luck, god speed

said on advert it did plastic tan ks, but on receiving product says on packet it does not.

This product is brilliant. The wax stopped the leak whilst we carried out the repair. Still holding 6 months later.
